As an FYI tip…using the pectoral or having tons of command arties on a guy does NOT help the starting loyalty of camps placed by 552 or 555. They go on the map at 1/2 the raw loyalty just like how mage arties help you cast curse but don’t boost the damage.

Truly though I did expect it to fall earlier so the fact that it did not was a happy situation for me. Facing the Dwarves, Sinda, and Woodmen I fully expected to be pounded out of Mirkwood and sought safer real estate. You did not dissapoint me. Massive forces indeed were mustered. I have been impressed by how many troops the Woodmen have kept in the field. Not the Dwarves they are an economic powerhouse but the Woodmen have really kept a lot of troops mobilized. I am having fun, as you recommend, hope you are as well.
Things have certainly been given away in this one, too much for free that in civilized societies one usually pays for… It’s time to take the enemies strategy and turn on it.

I didn’t say the nwest was dug in decently but agreed the WK looks well intact so far.
It isn’t obvious that it can’t hold forever having seen victories form that position, it can do better, with support. However, it is difficult and won’t last forever I just hope my allies aren’t overly focussed on it and refer to it like I did earlier as a “side show”
