Game 18 at last

Gavin,
so move your army to their final destination.

Let’s see what will happen there !

Have Fun !

Ditski, I just saw my remaining teamates turns…wow, um Sauron went prison style on someone this turn…I’d almost feel guilty if Galadriel and a bunch of stupid eagles hadn’t so readily facilitated some of your teamates advances in the NW in past turns.

This was a very interesting turn.

P.S. Stay away from the stingrays.

Sauron is my biggest hero.

Gavin,

Get some sleep man, we need you clear headed.

I know the Free must be feeling pretty down right now after losing all those artifacts and troops, but they’re not going to lay down and die. We have some tough campaigning ahead.

Brad

PS Thanks for the Gold Freeps

Freep artifacts are always in danger of being stolen, so that’s par for the course. Sauron, on the other hand, just saved Barad Ungol from going up in flames…

Dream on :o NG would have gotten the same treatment at Barad Ungol as they got at Dunharrow.

I managed to scarpe Arantar off the walls, now his head is decorating the Castle walls.

Why attack a camp/castle with only 1100 unarmored HI???

Well Die Hard what is a leader for if not to lend his strength at the opportune time. Must be painful to keep sending troops up the Ithil Pass only to lose them for no gain. Now we have some new toys to offer selected Wyrms that should help us a bit. Didn’t think that insignificant agent would be discovered did you? Very clever to try to hide the artifacts on his body. How fortunate for us that we determined that was what you were going to do. Is there a mole on your team?

Brad
Watcher of the Pendulum.

Bradden,
we all know that it was pure luck at the Ithil.

We were unlucky and …

Maybe some chars will die, but the Harad’s cap will burn this turn !

Have Fun !

Gixxx

A really good question !

That was par for the course? Egads…I’d hate to see what we’d have to do to rate a birdie.

Gixx

Certainly it was luck that Sauron showed up when we needed him to. Point is he showed up when we needed him too. All those troops gone. Might have been a pain had they gotten into Mordor. Then again maybe we were laying a trap for you as well. How may characters did you lose anyway? How many more will you lose this turn. I can tell from your posting you clearly expect to lose some.

Oh my God! Harad might lose his capitol in turn 11? In my prior match up with team Simpson, the rookies took it and most of North Harad by turn 5. Harad is wealthy taking ONE of his Major Towns even if it is the capitol will not cause much pain and even less panic.

I think that Pendulum is about at the far reach of its arc and momentum is beginning to switch back to us. Time will tell I suppose.

As you say; have fun

Brad

I’d put it down to a very beneficial turn for the DS, round 10 to you guys and might I add, One out of Ten aint bad odds for us either… don’t make a habbit of getting lucky will ya

I thought Sauron was a whimp but he surely kicked out what would have been the demise of the FK capital this turn. Nothing like good planning for you guys hey

P.S.
Sun rays are more dangerous and kill more people in Aus than the wildlife

Arantar looks preety there too but I’m not sure your aware that destroy pop happens before kidnap. I’m prepared to swap a commander for your capital if given half a chance… no I think you’ll find it hard to convince gamers that you were saving the Barad… next

Attacking a camp castle… trying to seige your revenue bases :stuck_out_tongue:

G’day BJ,

Finding a bit more heart from the last turn, ye ole Lion.

Seeing how your keen now maybe you can count how many times Harad has been under attack…ummm, that would be none but who’s counting?

From a Freep perspective, I’d say one from one is a fair battle statistic (when it happens) and being his capital, which us ole gamers know has a little more affect on one’s loyalties and home orders, I’d say it’s a Big One we have… I’ve been told to speak for myself though

Given most of the players I’ve met herein are saying they’ve been around a bit, (that’s gaming not street corners), I assume we have all played where harad has been throttled early. An observation from an educated potato might have used a bad eye to see that Harad has not been a target for 9 turns

Seeing how you are comparing yours with ours, I could say, that I took the Nmen position on expecting to be crushed to near nothingness… but let me see… Attaced the back door, running over the top of the LR startup cavalry in fine style, combined in the attacks around Mordor too and was devastated by with the loss of a town (taken a few camps off you guys too but they don’t really count) :stuck_out_tongue:

However, there is nothing to brag about here, it was all done because you guys let me :stuck_out_tongue:

BTW, speaking about the pendulum, I think it swung past it’s far reaching arc and 360’d you in the head… geez it’s no longer a pendulum, just a poor golf swing :stuck_out_tongue:

P.S. Nothing personal, it’s my nature to point out the obvious

Ah Dits you can always be counted on.

Absolutely correct you haven’t attacked Harad. Why?

Sauron’s timely arrival was certainly beneficial to us. So now do you send the Dwarves and and the other Gondor army forward? What if Sauron’s still there, do you risk it? Well I think we already know the answer; of course you risk it. You have said yourself you guys are all military and all the way.

I have to agree with you though turn 10 to the DS.

Brad

Sauron is awesome. In our last game we were the FP and the QA sent an army to his hex and move-joined a bunch of his characters. They got the encounter and Sauron boosted everybody like 20-30 character points. His characters were EXTREMELY impressive when the game ended around 20 or so.

Yeah, Australia has the highest incidence of skin cancer in the world…not shocking once you compare the skin tones of most of the current inhabitants vs. the aborigines.

#1 killer in the US is heart disease or auto accident if you skip past the sickness related categories…of course that depends on your demographic.

If you’re really lucky, you get to be in the demographic where the #1 killer is “hail of hot lead”…

Haven’t had much luck (maybe time?) for Sauron as DS but he seems easier to find or more to the point, tie down, than the Freep Galad and Gandy. This game Gandy was handy as he bumped one of my emmies up a mighty notch and saved a few bucks getting another but I’d be the first to admit to trade that for sending a huge army to the grave and saving a capital. :o

paragraph 2:
Australia has a mega hole in the Ozone layer created by smog from the US and Europian industry… apparently smog flows down hill  Yes, white folk are pale Brits and all sorts of fair skinned immigrants… myself included, having many nasty growths removed from too much sun and surf as a young fella (most of the removals I named after gamers with bad attitudes, the worst one started with ‘F’)

The indigenous don’t suffer from the skin cancer issues but many other medical issues unfortunately.

P3:
Aus is cranking up the Diabetics list, heart problems being a side affect of course but over here if you’ve lived to adult hood, you’ve survived several deadly marine types, 10 of the worlds most deadliest snakes, a couple of bad arse spiders, swiming with crocs and the governments New Industrial relations laws. :frowning: Population growth ain’t that flash, so over a couple of hundred years it’s been, “come on down” except the Kiwi’s who just come on over

Oh, US Demi Graphics I’ve never seen but you do have Demi Moore

Mmmm, in Aus we prefer the Melee. The gun laws only allow the organised crims and the victorian police to induce lead poisoning… the rest of us just have to beat clappers out of each other with whatever you can… “quick Bruce, grab a leg each and beat the pohm using this lost yank”

P.S. thought most of you would handle this given nobody listens to Aussies anyway

Sauron is a real nice boost for all of your stats, but as a dark servant try to pay for that character cost with a crashed market. Not pretty, not pretty at all, especially when your teammate edits your turn and moves all the characters out of your capital.
