Game 18 at last

Winnie don’t get so riled up.

We consider the outlying DS nations to be at greatest risk so to us the fact that you have not eliminated us is to us a victory. Never mind the fact that you haven’t even hurt us. So yes to us we have won against the Duns.

As for you not being able to speak with me because I won’t be there. I think you’ve got it turned around. I doubt that you will get into Mordor so you are right you won’t be able to speak to me when you are in Mordor. Oh, I’ll still be around of course but you won’t be in Mordor. Just on the outside looking in as you are now.

Still, I am glad you’re having such a good time.

Brad

*Where on earth would a grape be able to grow in Canada? Or do you make them out of something else?

Winsten[/QUOTE]

The south shore of Lake Erie, from Cleveland to Erie PA, is one big grape field. Hear there a lot of grape fields on the north shore also. Probably just produces grape juice though.

Niagara, Point Pelee, some valley in British Columbia also. We figured out wine well before wheat up here, priorities you know…

*I’m not getting riled up. I’m just considering what I should do with your head when you’re finished with it. I think a garage. Seems such a waste of a room with an unimpeded view though

*Otherwise - I’ll give you this, you’re making me take alot more interest in what’s going on with the rest of our map.

*Wow there you go. I might be wrong about sooo many other things then

*Well one thing’s for certain, playing with you lot has taught me reams about alcohol (and why I should never drink it  )

Winsten Wun Toof

Stop beating your chest you big Ape

Incompetent us Northmen should be with all this free time making us lazy and all the beer we’re drinking… must be the interval… when does this movie actually start <burp> <Blurp>

Going thru the mail one at a time Ebb… <burp> <hic> I mean Ed,

The tide is truely out around Rhun but the flow isn’t coming, it continues to pour down the already mositened Northy throats.

No time for collecting Sea Shells by the Seashore… too busy collecting Numb Skulls at the Mor Door

Ditski of the Beermen

Hi Bradden,
the " Black Gate " isn’t any longer in DS’s hands.

It’s the best fortified fortress around Mordor and now it’s in possession of the EOs and the forties are down !

Please don’t tell me that this wasn’t a loss for you.

You would like to tell me that the Dog was able to compensate it by taking some unimportant pops ?

Ha, ha can’t believe it !–

Your starting armies will be toast soon and I’m really curious to see what will happen without your starting armies.

Have Fun !

*No apparently Morannon is not part of Mordor. We still haven’t gotten to Mordor. I suspect that Mordor will always be one hex away from where we are

Aparently it’s the threshold of Mordor that is untouched… but after 2 of Barlin’s brews the lads are saying he forgot to mention his no hope lads parked at 3222 which is also a threshold of Freepdom.

Did we thank the Cloud for handing that over as it was very handy

Well with the starting armies gone, we don´t have to pay for them. That question is easy to answer.
But I don´t see much left from the FP starting army at my doorstep either. The big push by the Gondors all their starting armies and what have you acomplished? Even the MT of Minas Ithil as this nice flag of the Dark L flying.
Too bad my threat failed or it would be the flag of Dirty Harry.

Oh and you know what happens around turn 5 don´t you?

Nice liizzzard, eat Human/Elf/Dwarf flesh, be a nice (evil) dragon.

*Wont do you much good when you don’t have any armies  That reminds me lads - burn all of their camps… >:-)

Gixx,

Yes Morannon is yours for the time being but knocking down those fortifications makes it a much less significant obstacle. Now it really isn’t all that important is it? Poor, Winston doesn’t seem to realize that we can always raise armies and even a tiny army with a dragon in tow will be very bad news indeed for your splendid huge armies. Nothing has really changed since the last time you asked me if I could see the Free Army icons. They are still where they were, our nice reception was ruined by your lack of initiative. The offer stands come right on in.

Oh, Winston, that is good advice we will burn what ever camps we come across as well.

*Hmmm, I see this conversation is only flattering to you. It must be a shock and a pleasure for you to have a 2 way conversation for a change. But in the words of the wise, “I bet you wont be annoying me when you’re eliminated”

been there, done that.
dragon killer. no more lizards. basic tactic in grudge games.

Brad, When you say Moragone is a much less obstacle… for which side do you speak of… and yes it is less important isn’t it

…and as you guys alude to you only need small armies with wyrms and we only need slightly larger armies to disperse them… that is so cool

Yawn

Barlin cracked another brew with one hand, stroking his nice lizard with the other and thought: Hope my allies don’t eliminate all the lizards?

So it’s a jubiliant time for you !

The CL won’t have to pay his forces any longer !

Completely wiped out ( including cav ).

Have Fun !

Thanks for the good laugh this turn guys…that was one miraculous threat of Mt. Gunderbad with 1200 troops. Loyalty there was 65 at the start of the turn too…happy to share pdf’s after the game is over.

Anyway, at least that keeps the west interesting. I really don’t see you guys rooting us out by turn 10, maybe not ever at this point. You can fluster and bluster about it (the usual forum ribbing stuff) but you know the truth.

I give Arthedain an a grade of A so far…if I ever play them I will steal several of your actions…well done.

I’d like to thank the Dwarves for swapping 2004 for 2005…better view and a safer neighborhood.

Glad to see Cardy is still with us…I thought they were being special serviced again. I suspect Cardy will take thier first and only PC of the game this turn. Huzzah!
