Methinks… to get into an argument I’m going to have to start a fight with you and Winsten… not much else on offer

*What? Get in a fight with a man with no teeth and a beer fixation? You’ve got nothing to lose in a fight (well not your looks anyway I’ve got an uncle like that - on beer and in fights all the time. One morning he come home with a beatific smile on his face, a mashed nose, his front teeth knocked out and two black eyes. Turns out a Samoan bouncer reshaped his head into a stubbie holder (holds a 375ml beer bottle). The reason for the beatific smile? Better than plastic surgery - he managed to straighten a previously broken and bent nose So no, I don’t fight blokes with faces like catcher’s mits, I’m probably doing them a favour. Me on the other hand - well I’m beautiful
Winsten Wun Toof - Neither lover nor fighter… just don’t touch me!!!
pochak blindly challenges gildor at 3924…
morannon under eothraim ownership, stripped of defenses.
3322 provides a nice roadblock, for the freeps? ji playing with women in web?
2421. the disappearing m town as 2600 dog lord cav arrive.
so far, so good, so what? interesting game, but the market is way too high.
good hunting bad guys, in all things outside 18.
sm freep
You forget… the Nmen just batched another brew of the good stuff <hic>
Hey Smulls, you forgot to tell them what color our under garments were but I think you’ve covered the part about our enemy isn’t wearing any
I like the disappearing MT bit, like the disappearing Moragone but far less likely to make your bank manager nervous… around 9k gold per turn while the hordes at 2421 play the poker machines, Sauron will be impressed
Barlin wiped his eyes with a broken beer bottle as he woke… “Hmmm, the sun is up early today… and it is in the wrong place… cripes, it’s afternoon!” He’d been sleeping for days and it was always past his bedtime. “And this rash?”
Eoder was laughing because he’d slipped some vegetables into Barlin’s Brew, knowing full well he was allergic to solids…
Still, they had nothing to do anyway so why not have some fun thought the Big E.
They both looked at the big rock in the middle of the piddle… puddle, perhaps but it didn’t matter, the sea of Rhun was deserted anyway and both tasted the same… “<yawn> is that the Long Rider in the distance” said Eoder? Barlin burped the belch or boldness " who cares"… and they happily cracked another coldie
It seemed nobody missed such far away places? They only missed real combat of which no enemy could be found that was worthy
2 months since the war had started and the enemy was yet to be seen at close range?
How many evil eyes does it take to change a light bulb? Just can’t be done, apparently
How long is a peice of string? Twice the distance from the centre to one end or even further than a DS army from his own pop centre with a light bulb on it, apparently
Northmen - nothing else to do but write silly stuff on a Forum - to himself… where did the enemy go
Well as far as our gaming goes it’s been pointed out to us that we’re so incompetent that we could be thrown into a bag of boobs and come out sucking our thumbs but at least we’ve proven that we are da men when it comes to forum trashing. Do they have some manky award for forum bothering? If they do, I vote me for #1

Dendra Dwar sat stunned amidst the utter destruction, surrounded by the smoking remains of rubble, iron works, gizzards and other assorted wiggly bits… and that was only his underpants!!! Morannon had faired considerably worse…
Excerpt from Ode de Morannon
Yea verily it was written that Mahrcared slapped Dendra so hard that he shut Khamul up
Wassup laddies - something unpredictable happen?
Winsten Wun Toof
Hey who turned out the lights?
Is the game over?
Did we win?
It seems kinda lonely in here…
Winsten Wun Toof (predicting that he’ll be told that he’ll get a reply when he has something useful or amusing to say
It is the nature of wars and wargames that they ebb and flow. Enjoy the ebb, collecting driftwood and shellfish. Just don’t have the barbie to close to the water’s edge. The flow is coming.
If we’re enjoying the “ebb”, they you’re suffering our “flow”…correct? So, once we’ve…er…flown, we then, ebb? At which point, you’ll be flowing…? I get it, like Go Fish, we take turns…? Good. So after we flow, we ebb, but then the lights change and we flow again… I see, I see, very nice. Fair and equitable to all parties. Okay. Good. Um,er…but then what?

*If it ebbs - the DS go back onto solids If it flows, the DS try to muster one set of teeth between the lot of 'em All in all, not as much fun as Khamul’s stunningly accurate predictions (two turns after the event I say - “Bring back the prodder” being predictable has never been so profitable Meanwhile, as advised by Ed we’ll continue to collect shellfish like Ashyr to add to our collection

Winsten are you trying to talk about the game? It’s kind of hard to follow. There hasn’t been much to comment on. As for Khamul two turns after the event. You guys seem to expect that even outnumbered three to one the Dragon Lord would attack in some powerful offensive. Has your side accomplished anything? The Duns have withdrawn from the Rhudaur border lands. Nothing has fallen in Mirkwood but Woodmen and Sinda population centers. The South has not been a resounding source of victories for the Free.
A major push at Morannon and the Ithil Pass but you still haven’t accomplished much besides wasting time and killing troops who were put there for the express purpose of dying to slow your progress. Looks like all your eggs are in one basket. I have nothing to report, oh except that you took Ashyr, I took Guntram. True Guntram is not all that great a character but then again neither is Ashyr. Go ahead and take Nahald Kudan, I expected that 3 turns ago, but better late than never I guess.

*No not really… oh wait up, a gaggle of Eothraim did manage to sidestep all of your defenders and lob up to Morannon virtually unopposed A gaggle of other less august locations will get jumped on by various unwashed freepies, and you still haven’t caught us yet…

*Actually I think your eggs might be in my basket, have you seen them lately?
I have nothing to report, oh except that you took Ashyr, I took Guntram.
*No we took Morannon, Ashyr plopped onto our lap. I suspect we got the better deal
True Guntram is not all that great a character but then again neither is Ashyr. Go ahead and take Nahald Kudan, I expected that 3 turns ago, but better late than never I guess.
*I just love to have someone curse my team for predictability and sloth. It makes it so much more amusing when I hit the quote button a couple turns later Maybe we are being a bit more circumspect about our approaches than rushing in like a bunch of gerbils??? Or maybe we are just applying a bit of seasoning before we eat you  The finger’s on the quote button
*I see you don’t know why you’re getting so much attention. Read your early mail. It might explain how that big red bullseye came to be on your forehead

Have a good game Winsten. We have won in Rhudaur. With all the advantages in troop strength you guys accomplished what? Took a couple of camps, wow, they were replaced, with no impact to our economies. Now the Duns are clustered around their capitol and not attacking Rhudaur, why is that? Could it be the fact that there are cavalry armies about that just cleared 2619 and 2520 of the Free then destroyed the Dun cavalry in the process. Your attack on Angmar will have some initial success but nothing that cannot be dealt with.
Congratulations you took Morannon. Of course you are using just about everything the Eo can scrape together. Speak to me when you are inside of Mordor and not just standing on the threshold trying to build the courage to come in. Not in at Minas Ithil either I see. Even with close to 10,000 troops you cannot seem to take a town. Again speak to me when you are in and not just whistling Dixie.
Come on in boys we really wish you would. If not go back to your beer swilling bragging.
Brad
I’ve been drinking a surprisingly reasonable local red recently, no beer here…
QUOTE=Brad JenisonHave a good game Winsten. We have won in Rhudaur.
*Really? I hadn’t looked at the allies turns to be honest, but you must be really something to have taken all their pops by turn 4 Or is this something that just happens on Planet Brad? I’d have thought it a bit early to call that one…

*Again you’ve got us there Brad. Another campaign lost alas. You are quite the genius mate
Congratulations you took Morannon. Of course you are using just about everything the Eo can scrape together.
*This is uncanny Brad, how do you know so much
Speak to me when you are inside of Mordor
*Sorry can’t - you wont be playing by then

*Brad not to put too fine a point on it, but you should talk considerably less, that way we would only be guessing
Winsten Wun Toof - amused at watching while Brad digs a hole and fills it in after him
