I heard a strange rumor, that the dwarves got their beards stuck in one of their mining machines :eek: and had to wait until the new crew came today and only now can they get their work done.

The pdfs’ indicated the turn was due on 14NOV. I sent HQ a note on this, but they did not respond. I now have a “turn due today” note in my inbox.

If anyone on our side gets ss’d because of this, I am sending a nasty grame to HQ.

Costs are £1.50/$3.00/AU$4.50 + 25p/50c/75auC per day - and maximum length of turnaround is 1wk. W/ends don’t count (we don’t work then) and turns are to be sent in using AM or MEOW if you want this discounted rate otherwise normal cost. We’ll charge for turns in advance to save us a lot of admin (blocks of 4) and refund the extra later.

Reasonable minds can disagree. I saved my email to and auto response from HQ in anticipation of litigation :smiley:

I also submitted shadow orders as appropriate:

ELRON 705 236 (Fireball Fun in the Forest Festival) and 585 (those damn rebs)
TARON 185 7 (ditto on the rebs) and 444 MI (for the shine)

Yeah i was hoping for 3-4 day turnaround tops, but seems like Freeps have there heads in the ground waiting for last minute instructions.

Do we have any idea if the actual turn deadline is today? I hate getting my new turn hopes up only to have to wait another week for the Dwarves.

The whole purpose of this game was for a ONE WEEK turnaround with the possibilty of an even faster turnaround than that. Where are our turns? I have no sympathy for the dwarves if they get ss’ed.

Through several emails with Rob/HQ this morning, HQ informed me it was waiting for as many as 3 sets of orders. When I volunteered to shadow any FP orders, he affirmed that the “missing” orders were not FP.

Well the Rhu turn is in and all orders as hoped, though all pretty dull. Map interesting - nothing on it that others don’t already see … looks light the WK/Arthy fight is starting off immediately. I have little to add at the moment as per my situation, but again I’ll let my decision be known soon.
