The White Wizard is just staring at his toes or contemplating his naval so far in this game. I think we’ll clean the closets next or maybe put new paper down in the kitchen cabinets.
Of course, if someone where to actually communicate we might be able to engage in this game. There is a game going on, right?
As I recall, there was plenty of conversation to be had in the early turns of this game. Curious the absence of the freeps. No parlay, no banter, no tall tales. What a shame!
Also, I sent a diplo to all the neutrals on the first turn. It contained some words of welcome and an email address, but not one email did I receive. Not one! Did you loose it?
I just wanted to set the record straight that there is plenty of opportunity to be had for conversation. Plenty of offers from the DS anyway.
What would you like to hear? Did you hear the one about the orc, the elf, and the halfling? It’s a gut-buster!
Seriously though, what would you like to hear? Or would you rather have personal correspondence? Or perhaps the news of the day? The bridge at Osgiliath is no more. Tharudan is dead! There is a confusion of armies on a collision course in the NorthEast.
I just wanted to state for the record that I missed the thread about the Horns of Gondor. I guess I missed my own opportunity for banter! (Hand to forehead.)
Dragon Lord checking in, good sir! We are busy cleaning house, ourselves. We are just about done with our Sylvan Infestation (Curiously, a bit of cheese at the bottom of an oversized mason jar seems to trap them quite nicely…) and now are working on the Woodmen and Sinda that seemed to have popped up.
I -KNOW- I have a home recipie for Woodmen Remover. I just can’t remember if its one cup or two of dragon…
Please feel free to check in at anytime…

Not going to make a decision this turn, probably not next, either. But would like to get a feel for how the neuts have broken so far and for how things are going around Rhun and around Os.
Have a strong interest in where game balance is headed, too.
It is good to make an informed decision. Your best information will come from the neutral players themselves.
Rhun is far from my lands, but rumor has it that it is hotly contested. Many armies have been spotted North of Mordor. The immediate outcome is uncertain, however after many battles the free are destined to eventually lose the NorthEast.
Battles continue around Os. The bridge is down for the moment. Will it be put back up? Will armies take a longer path through the bridge at Pel? Will navies arrive with a fresh batch of huge free armies. Nothing certain here.
What of Mirkwood? What of Dwarves? What of Misty Mountains? What news of Bree, the Shire, or the far West? What of the deep South?
As far as game balance goes, the longer you wait, the more obvious the game balance will be. It is the hope of many nations that you enter in on the side that needs the help. That way, the game will last a few or many turns longer. To tip the game balance in the other direction and make the hammer bigger might draw the game to a close rather quickly.
Anyway. That’s the news. I’ll be more than happy to share my perspective with you again after next turn.
