And here the DS had me convinced the FP consisted of 1 with 9 straddling the fence, you know, the one slowly receding in Mordor…or was that Rohan…or Rhun? I can’t keep it all straight. Hmmm. If I joined the Wizard would the DS promise to leave me alone? Maybe these “riders” would consider the same, they seem to claim hardship…
PS - If you promise to join the WW, the 9 will promise to leave you alone, well, since we have been leaving you alone to win this war…that won’t be much of a stretch. Hey, you are still invited to the DOL GULDOR BASH 04, Khamul is providing the beer, so it ain’t SAM Gondorian ADAMS…but it isn’t all that bad either.

Needless promise as the “9” have left him alone for the entire game.
I will make the FP a promise if you don’t attack FK armies, I will not attack FP armies or pop centers as long as there are unaligned neutrals west of the gap. I don’t even care who wins this game though I don’t think the outcome is in doubt. My goals are west of the Gap.
Why go with the term “unaligned neutrals, west of the gap”? Spit it out, do you want to attack the Duns, who stated they may go DS? Or the WW, who is definately north, south, east & west of the gap?

Duns first and foremost though I am assuming he will flip DS if I am ever able to slog through the Gap.
Macman (the WW) is a recent ally whom I DO respect. Played with him in ass-stomping of the FP that was 227, however I dislike neutrals this late in the game even though I understand his desire for research. Don’t care to drop this game and don’t care to let it languish for x turns trying to do the ring thing.
Unfortunately for me, the FK has weak characters so not much I can do when the Duns flip DS
I don’t speak for the DS team; I parted ways with them some time back. The DS agenda is to hammer the FP, mine is not. I fear the DS are a very linear thinking group so I am unlikely to get much help in my endeavor.
Really there are only 9 DS plus the neutrals if anyone is keeping score.

Pardon me, but I don’t understand this statement. Considering the generally accepted “team” format of the “open” games, wouldn’t one who desired to play a solitary game either play another variant or a Neutral. That’s what Macman is doing, but an allegiance player? If you care not to discus on an open forum for whatever reason, I’d appreciate some kind of reply so PM would do. I’m not making a morality play, I’m genuinely curious as to your position.
Blind Fletch,
Bringing you in was an attempt to “find balance” and “restore harmony” with all the weirdness and madness. The thing that we overlooked is that you are quite weird yourself!
<<At least it is an upgrade from “Back-line Russ” >>
I’ve rather enjoyed this foray into the front-line. Obviously it is my superior unheard-of strategies that has kept me alive and in the FP face<sarcasm>. Some say the FP are not a good team but what they don’t realize is that it’s because I MAKE 'em look bad!

Yes, no doubt your frontline position was the death-knell of the FP.
Try to keep your boys from tripping with all that heel-toe stuff
<<But we intend to pound on the Duns no matter what icon he holds.>>
Oh, but you’ll be “proving” his point. You’ll have to make him understand that it has nothing to do with his nation and VC’s and everything to do with that fact that he is a <edited for tender-hearted folks>.
Seriously, I look forward to the late game character assault. It will be fun. 20 turns of boring followed by 3 turns of gold thefts… Ohhhh, I’m shaking.

Actually I would be willing to drop out of this game and let WW do his ring thing if he will attack the Duns and help put him out. I am sure when DS armies get near the Duns he will flip DS. A 227 WW style would be welcomed also
If I were still on the DS team and there if there is some semblance of a FP concerted effort ongoing, I would strike a cease-fire deal at least in the gap and move armies to take the Duns pop centers. He can’t make himself immune to armies of all allegiances.
To Rohan or FP team leader, let my armies pass through the gap, I will not touch any FP pop centers. I will force the Duns to flip DS (or mix it up with me) at which point I hope some of the estranged DS will launch character attacks. PM me if you have interest
To NG:
Launch an attack out of 2622, I will not rebuild the bridge for an agreed upon number of turns if you are willing to move armies against the Duns.
No offense meant to the FP but when the FK has HC on the road into the gap, it does not bode well for your chances.
