From the DS musings on the board, it would seem I’d best get busy on stock piling gold to boost my score. Are the FP really rolling over and dieing?

I’m actually finding a groove with the whole spasmodic shuddering and flailing around before toppling melodramatically into my river thing ~ hardly “rolling over” I’d say. I’ve worked very hard to perfect my technique, and if you were the avid student and player of the game you claim to be, you’d take copious notes in respectful silence, thank you very much.

Wow, I’m humbled. I quit your club on a morality argument and now you want to join mine. Gee, I don’t know what to say.

But I’ll try.

To begin, you have to send small armies in the wrong direction. Defend major pops with MA, lose major pops, mis-navigate your navies to land in meaningless hexes far from the battle, die blithely to every toddler-assassin that comes “Me want knife Yoooo!” into your tent, buy leather instead of sell mounts at a crucial economic juncture, and tell your allies “Oh I’m fine, I didn’t need that 1/2 of my nation anyway” when they offer help.

Get that about right and you’re not only in the Fan Club, I’ll make you VP.

I can manage almost all of that- but I dont have any ‘allies’ per se, and while I could loose half my nation in a blink, I wouldnt have anybody to say “Oh Im fine…” too. Drat! You set the bar too high!!!

Not really. Screwing up comes pretty naturally to me. No work at all.

Like the one time I meant to 610 an ally’s last commander but instead 615’d him… That went over well.

Makes any of the above listed screw ups seem like child’s play.

See FP, by me being neutral, I’m actually strengthening your team… Maybe I’ll join the DS to help balance the game some. They got Corsairs and Khand, so should have to put up with my screw ups as well.

I play the way I play, and I say what I think. If that takes me out of favor, too freakin’ bad. I’ll never “suck up” or shut up.

Since no one brought up PRS, I felt no obligation to mention it. Now that someone has, I will.

Tell me. If the PRS is good for the game, how can playing for a good score be bad for the game? How can wanting to be the best ranked player I can be, put me in disfavor, unless of course, it is a SUCKY system that rewards SUCKY play?

I’m going to get 2000 VPs for this game, unless the DS and/or FP launch a character attack in the end game. Back in the bad old days of GSI, when the VPs had meaning (like they again do now) I had to do many of those. They were no fun.

Regardless of whether you attack me or not, I’ve show that playing in a game with someone that is trying to get MAX VPs, is no fun. Since PRS encourages people to play for Max VPs, it is bad for the game.

You anger and name calling have gone a very long way to proving my point. Thanks. The FP silence sure didn’t help me. Rat bastards, keeping thier mouths shut…

Wow, some balance could sure be brought to the game if it weren’t for PRS and the way it encourages neutrals to sit on the fence for as long as possible, then jump onto the winning side at the last minute.

Guess I’ll be jumping to the DS real soon. I better start recruiting and selling to get the army and gold scores up.

Well there are two sides to every story…and as soon as Stewie gets off his high horse (wait, Doglord killed his last horse)…

Good, that will mean “if” we win, it will be 9 against 15, and a new legend will be told around the ole Greenwood campfires.
If we lose, we were outnumbered by 6 nations, another good tale will be told around the old Mirkwood campfires.
