Surrender? Whatchootalkin’bout boy? I simply switched sides, 4 times, and ended up back where I started minus 75% of my nation in user and transaction fees.
Dragon Lord is BACK and now under the power of “THAT” one ring. Been busy getting hitched and that’s probably the only reason you got my cap. I see we’re still winning by a landslide, though. Eager to return to taking names . . .
that’s funny. I tried to challenge some stranger at Osgiliath in game 310 years ago as a fading NG (no comparisons, please…), someone named Angurth, I believe. Yep, that’s hilarious, really.
that’s funny. You think we have ever had any communication with SG…?
Gondor: Gutted. Mighty Tirith has joined the ranks of Dol Amroth and fallen to the DS. Gondor is part of Mordor.
The East: All Mordor. Even the usually-left-alone Dwarves have felt the wrath and watched their city burn to the ground. Yep, that’s two capitals fallen to the DS this turn.
Mirkwood/Misties: Though well-fought by the Free, this area is turning back to the DS. Mt. Gundabad flies our flag once again.
The West: Last haven of the Free, yet we are knocking on the Door. Imladris narrowly missed the dark hammer. The Rangers are fending off DS armies from the WEST.
Mordor: Has not been harmed IN THE LEAST by the FP. 23 turns of SAFETY from which we have churned out the machines of war and manipulated the market to our every whim EVERY TURN. Mordor is an economic monstrosity combined with the luscious goldlands of Khand and Umbar.
The light of the free wanes. Surrender against such odds would be understood and respected. Resistance would be welcomed as the Servants of Darkness are ever bloodthirsty. Yes, let us continue to choke the blood from your corpse.
FP have much to say. However, most of it is “Ouch” and “Oww, make the pain stop!”
I have not played the best game. But for a first time player as the Riders, I have been facing three to one nations the whole game. FK, IK, DogLord (Opps, I out lasted him), Drk Lt, Long Rider…
DS agents have been in my capital more that I have.
And still, you have only burned Stowburg (OK, twice now) and Ongusher (OK, twice there also) but I sure got my moneys worth from that DS starting camp.
And what is it with just one curse mage?..the DS can do better than that.
At least the Drk Lt will not be too happy. Though The Mark will be overrun when ALL the DS have focused your attention on it, at least we stung you before going down.
Erkenbrand is finally free!!!
Running for the elven boats (good thing we have plenty of horses).
And all the dark servants; our chances were slim at best the moment the Khand & Corsairs joined your side; the Rhun Easterlings DS? the WW deciding to play with himself; the Duns quiting twice; and poor Southern Gondor had no means to communicate with anyone.
Still, we lasted as a team 22+ turns; made up of several skilled and many brand new players.
I’m proud of this team, and the fight they put up, while learning on the fly.
Well it may not be over yet; but likely soon.
Still you have played with skill, and I commend your team,
We’ve had our own struggles but we’ve always put on a good face for you. I believe in the power of propaganda.
I am impressed with your team’s hardiness. It’s been fun. I just pray there isn’t anyone on your team who will force us into a “bughunt”. Not suggesting we are anywhere near that just quite yet, but you know what I’m saying.
OK, this thing with SG has got me stymied. Why and how has there been no communication? Does he mail his turns and not own a computer? Does he live
in a flat 3 blocks from Harly and his only dealings with the outside world are to
drop off and pick up his turns by hand ?! A prisoner that shuns the outside world? One look at Stewie and he recanted his membership? Plz throw me a bone here…
SG is a prisoner who was able to communicate with me about once every three weeks or so for the first two times he communicated and then, well, who knows. They never advised us the nation was available, so there you go. Hope you’re enjoying it now, 'cause if you piss me off I’m gonna make you weep for mercy all the way home. I’m a little annoyed now, but I’m edging ever closer to that crucial line…
