and losing ole urzzi must have hurt, too…
yet it did not make up for the loss of the NM and the Dwarven capital, so the last turn was yours, I guess… but as I said, we are trying to improve.
BTW it is “Daongaspode” - a little insider for the Terry Pratchett fan
Thanks much to the Woodmen for feeding 2,950 human corpses to my pets. One dragon will eat you out of house and home… But 2??? Can’t keep them fed without friendly neighbors like the Woodmen.
The last words of Daongaspode: “The <cough> Black <hack> Breath! <wheeze>”
The last words of Kynoden: “I’m not afraid of your really big sword – it’s
too big for you to swi–!?$%$”
The last words of Sibroc: “AIIIIEEE!”
The words of Bulraker: “That’s funny… I could have sworn there was a city here last fortnight. Oh, well, guess I’ll have to feed a bunch of elves to my wolves. Not enough elves for all of them, though… I hate trying to split them up.”
The words of Celedhring: “I almost didn’t get away. Had to leave my jewelry behind when I crept out through the culvert – it wouldn’t fit down there.”
The last words of Orkamur: <hack> <wheeze> <cough>… here, boy, take my sword and lead my soldiers to victory <spit> <dies>
Well, three small successes for the FP, three big ones for us DS. Story of the game so far.
While I enjoyed the hunt, I’d hardly classify Urdrek’s misfortune in the same class as the others.
Now that Daongaspode is gone, what is the exact reference? I’ve read most of Pratchett’s Discworld stuff (missing only Small Gods, I think), and while the name rings a bell, I can’t place it. Please tell me, or I’ll ask our CL to name his next assassin “Luggage”
