Hey Murmur.
We haven’t heard from you in a while. Now I can’t speak for the rest of the team, but I personally enjoy your assessments and reports on the death tallies and reports on the different theaters of the war. So if you would be so kind I would like to get your take on the various theaters.

Hopefully get back onto this, once i`m finished whipping this bunch of reprobateds into shape
Loads of RL stuff going on right now!

It’s not every day someone writes something that has me heading to the dictionary to look up a word.
But even more infrequent is not finding that word in it.
I’m about to hit dictionary.com in desperation.

Dwarves/S. Gondor-27
It’s so quiet in here.
Plans brewing, players stewing, nail-chewing and obfuscation-eschewing.
Heh.
Francis-Francis-Francis-Francis-Francis-Francis-Francis-Francis-Francis!
Well, Mr Murmur is our resident Librarian, so he has all day to dig around in the Dictionary of Unused Words to add to his reports…
As for beat downs…poor Copperhead, not much of an agent to get bitch slapped by an emmisary, but he was a Dun, so Shebbin was probably able to make a full sentence and confuse him long enough to get the drop on him instead.
Otherwise, it seems that your former SG pop center of Fanuilond is much happier under Saurons control, considering how active the militia was this turn!!
A fair trade for the Guru!
The Dreaded Quiet Avenger
Sinda here,
The FP do miss Murmur’s turn reports. We hope his time frees up to give all of us in Game 26 a proper update.
However, to touch on the subject,
12 FP Assassination/Kidnap attempts this turn and only 2 successes (and 2 curses). Add in two of the failures lead to FP agent deaths, the luck gods smiled on the DS this turn. We did have 18 successful kills over the past 3 turns, so enjoy this turn. The randon number generator will not always show the DS pity.
However, with only one successful DS assassination this turn (and 2 Curses), the FP still out agent the DS. IK capital burned and over 4000 DS troops on the wrong side of the river disappeared at the loss of only 813 FP troops. No FP pop centers captured in Gondor. In fact, we retook one (granted, it was only a Village),
Where are the DS resources? Galad and company are waiting for the hammer to drop. The unknown of where it is going to hit is causing much interest and discussion amoungst the group.
Sinda Game 26
…you’ll find out in a few days…
All goes according to Saurons plans!
Hay, you DS are still here! We have missed you on the Forums. Where have you been?
Sinda
Oh loads going on, including a new arrival in the murmur household thats been taking up a lot of my time…we are still here and hope to be more noticeable in the near future Hopefully you`ll get a clearer idea this very turn
SANDAROONYA, Herald of Umbar
Congratulations from the whole FP team of Game 26. We are happy real life is going well for you and your “new arrival” (though you are probably getting a lot less sleep).
As for the game, you are a lot more noticable. I think there will be a lot of dead characters on both side this turn. May victory go to whomever had planned the best.
More later.
Sinda
Thanks for the kind words!
Just a quick recap of figures for all you statheads out there…
As of turn 22 [with many to add for t23]:
FREE PEOPLE:
44 Dead, 2 M-I-A.
DARK SERVANTS:
50 Dead, 7 M-I-A.
Quite a close thing at the moment, with more to add for t23 as mentioned and there will be a major cull for t24!
REMATCH
HELLO AND WELCOME
Little green orcs in the mountains we would like a rematch and yes expect to beat you again in the next game as well ( jabb ) Our two teams are well matched ,and the next game would be even better than this game was. so what do you say to a rematch we play the dark nations and you play the free people.
Lord Theoden
Well folks;
Looks like Team Lush will be calling it quits. I’ve already informed Harly that us remaining Nazgul will be packing our bags and going into the East.
Mr Murmur having another kid is only one small piece of the pie…our illustrious Dog/LR player Ben has become a hippie and joined the Peace Corps and many of our original players have had to drop for one reason or another!
But, not an excuse…definately a well played game on the part of the FP. Very much lots of back and forth in this one and I think it could have gone on for still several more turns…
If only I hadnt of bankrupted the Dragon Lord so early!!! CURSES!!!
As for a rematch, perhaps in the future…but for now many of us Lushers are going to take a bit of an ME break

TEAM LUSH ROTATING CAPTAIN OF THE MONTH
Guys,
i`d only like to echo what the Fletchmeister has said; very well put!
Well played to the FP who were excellent throughout. I know the game could have gone on for a while and may even have been won by the DS. However., for a number of reasons we found it best to quit–not least the revolving door on players
Congratulations FP! Go challenge someone with a bit more experience as a team now!
SANDAROONYA, Still Lord of the Desert.
ps; Corsairs PDFS available on request. I can`t answer for the other guys, but we have them all stored
I would like to trade team pdf’s, I can send you the pdf’s for the entire team for the entire game if somebody could do likewise I would appreciate it. You can contact me at mudnutz69@yahoo.com If anybody is interested. I would love to see why some things happened the way they did.

My compliments to the DS for an enjoyable game. Thought I’d share a humorous happening from a few turns ago.
First the background: Bairanax had parked himself in a freep pop center and showed up on the report. The player who owned that pop center had an army there and didn’t realize Bairanax was a dragon . This player also didn’t send out his turn to the team for review so we didn’t catch the issue personal.
Below is a slightly modified version of what happened that I sent out to our team. the names have been changed to protect the…well, the names have been changed.
Regards,
Woodmen/NG game 26.
It had been a wretched week in the town of Val-stock. The populace cowered in fear inside their homes. Crops lay rotting in the fields while the cries of hungry babies were silenced as fearful townsfolk huddled in the deepest recesses of their homes. The very air of the town was nearly palpable with fear. Even the battle hardened veterans of the army would not venture outside of whatever poor shelter they had found, for the mighty worm Bairanax had claimed this domain as his own.
On the 5th day of the siege, the enormous beast lay in the ruins of the once beautiful hall of heroes, feasting on the last of the town’s prize-winning herd of war horses. Suddenly, a short way down the deserted street, the door of a partially destroyed tavern slammed open and solitary figure staggered determinedly forth.
Clasping a wine flagon in one hand and a large serving spoon in the other, the figure boldly staggered into the street towards the massive creature. A hunters cap was perched precariously on his head. The leathery sound of rock hard scales sliding across broken timbers was heard as the dragon turned its slit-eyed gaze to the human.
“Heys you… I wants to talks to you, youse big ugly mosss-quito!” Merior slurred.
“I’sss getting really tired of sittin in that bar waitchin on yousse to leave. I’ss a verrry importants person ya knows and I’sss tellin youse to gets out of here before I has to hurts ya”.
All up and down the street, doors were being cracked and shuttered windows opened a slit as the townsfolk looked out on the scene. “It’s Merior!” one whispered. “He’s going to save us!” said another.
Out on the street, the dragon glared down at the human standing in front of him. Small flames and smoke curled from the dragons snout as he regarded the diminutive form below him.
Merior paused to pick up his hat which had fallen to the ground and after putting it at a rakish (although backwards) angle on his head, he glared irritably up at the dragon. “Are you lishening to me?” He said as he rapped the dragon smartly across the nose with the serving spoon. “Whass your name again? Bair…bair…bare-ass? If yousse don’tch gets a goins, I’sss a gonna…” <SPLUT!!>.
All up and down the street, doors and windows were ever so slowly shut, so as to avoid drawing attention…
First of all, thank you to all of Team Lush for a fun game. Lots of stressful moments, squeals of delight, squeals of horror, ecstatic moments of success and absolutely torturous moments of failure. Thank you for all of it.
We have learned a lot this game. I personally grew in game knowledge and understanding by leaps and bounds. There’s a lot I wish I would have done differently, and will in future games.
I’m all for a full PDF/XML exchange (sometimes seeing the results in Palantir really helps to clarify things). I haven’t heard any negative votes on the matter (though admittedly the polls are not yet closed), and I’m dying of curiosity about a huge number of things. I’m also a bit of a math geek, and having the full data set to analyze would be heavenly.
Thanks again for everything, including putting up with some taunting which may have been…ahhhm…a bit more…harsh…than perhaps is conventional. i[/i]

Will see what i can do when the dust settles, folks
I have the pdfs stored in a yahoogroups page, and i can issue invites…though i may have to hand change a few choice posts
Ok now that the game is over and we have won the great struggle. Time for some truth! How did we win? How did we hurt you most? Questions from us would include Where was the Ice King ? Didn’t see much from him the whole game. The QA agent god nation what happened we killed more char than you did? What happened thier? Why did you keep the bridge up for the dwarves to cross and help the northmen the whole game. Down South one nation who did nadda the whole game as well. Was this by design or error. One question the Riders Of Rohan had all those bruned camps and villages did it really not hurt you to loose like 18 camps and 4 villages By like turn 10. Why did you not try harder to retake 3017 and aid the Dragon Lord I know he put himself out of the game but from trun 2 we owned the pop and hit the front of mordor the whole game. For your info didn’t attack the Black gate for a reason surround Mordor kill char and kill Kahn and Corsares as needed. Attack mordor on three sides at one time that would have happened some time very soon from now. I .E. boys at 4434 we thier for a distraction not actually going to do anything unless the right target poped up. The Dwarves and northmen had like 10,000 trops headed to Kahn capitol to wreck his day. All would have ben bad for you if the game had continued our PDF files will show you what your fate would have ben.
The pie guy
Thanks and good game sorry it ended before I had a chance to ravage you.
