Game # 28

Game 28 has started i would like to be the 1st to say hello to all of my teammates and yes even say hello to my opponents the DS. I would also like to try and make contact with all neutrals.

Balin

I’m playing the Corsairs in this one. Let the diplomacy begin!

Darren

We send greetings from our frigid halls in Durthang.

A warning to those who would stand against us: our strength and determination are backed by the will of the Dark Lord Himself. You shall be crushed underneath His might. For those who would join our cause and that of our allies: you shall know power as you never have before, ruling as gods.

We look forward to a good game… and winning.

Signed,

Hoarmurath, the Ice King of Durthang

Lookes like it’s just the 3 of us i’ll flip you for the Neutral. Dwarves vs. IK think i would need some help ponyriders are not very good against Nazguls.

We can rochambeau for it. You’d better be one limber Dwarf.

Hail to all from the ill-lit parapets of the Blind Sorcerer. We look forward to some sweet smiting and casting action and have reserved a number of spikes that would look just wonderful (or so His Blindness assumes) adorned with the heads of our foes, be they severed or attached to twitching rags and gobbets of flesh. Once we’ve decorated, we’ll have everyone over for a garden party on our beautiful lagoon. We have Funnoodles. So there.

Signed,
Squinty, the One-eyed Scribe

Hello from the east.

Rhun Here. I did send some private messages, but they haven’t been read, and I went through all the effort of signing up so I could send them

Hail All from the Quiet Avenger!

Sorry for any delay, I was on a week long hunt and just got back.

Wish to speak to all neighbors and neutrals if only to share good wishes.

Feel free to contact me.

My brother Nazgul are kicking my butt over the late start but I shall soon have my devoted servants whipped into shape (sorry for the pun).

At the end of the Second Age, Sauron came upon a tree planted alone on a wide plain. The Lord of the Rings looked far to the west and saw that the light of day would soon be upon him. Being of generous nature and contemplative spirit, he undertook to rest beneath that tree and practice the art of omphaloskepsis. He found, at length, that he could not come to enlightenment. “Do you know, shadowed spirit, that you have no navel and you can never achieve equinimity with all?” said the tree.

“What you say is true, that I have no mother, White Tree,” Sauron replied, “but you shall bear no fruit.”

You’d better listen to the Male Member here.

Northmen!

Our beautiful weapon is now befouled with gore and what little brains Swithwulf possessed. His Blindness is not pleased. Expect a bill for cleaning and polishing.

Squinty

On another occasion, Sauron visited his Grand Vizier at Minas Morgul to surveil the lands of Gondor. Murazor gestured to the maneuvers of armies and how even now the corruption of the Dark Lord would overwhelm the Kingdoms of Men like a cancer. “Would the cancer excise itself from the patient?” asked Sauron of Murazor, “You are the surgeons of Man.”

At the season when the flies of Mordor were at there worst, Baranor came with a host of followers to hear Ren give a sermon in Mordor. All of the men looked out upon the cursed land of Mordor - rife with plagues, vermin, and the suffering of soul and slaves. The sun burned so hot, too, even beneath the sulphurous black clouds, that the men begged their Captain to keep the banners on the mountains above. “Surely Ren shall come to Mount Ramthang to speak?” they cried out as if the winds could make Ren come. In the huts nearby a dog barked, and Baranor wondered whether the delegation from the west might have gotten so lost, too. That was the way of the race of Gondor. A wise orc searches for wisdom ; a foolish man doesn’t know what he is looking for.

on Mount Ramthrang.
