Game 34

Harad,

We haven't heard from you in a while....

I've been busy playing diablo II. Now that I've got my
amazon to win on normal level, I'm playing on nightmare level, AND running a
second person (sorcerer) to see if I can win with all 5 classes. I've losing
'a bit' of sleep.

Middle Earth might be a nice game, but diablo II is worth
spending months of my social life on.

     Whats going on ?

Too busy bleeding to death from large numbers of agents that
seems to come out from nowhere :frowning: Don't you people know that we you also
need mages and emissaries ?

     I thought you
were intending on crossing the Anduin.

That was before a few huge SG armies came down and stomped
all over me. And then some unknown free agent kidnapped my commander. Two
commanders went up, none come back (one was taken in the fighting). I really
do need to find a dragon if I want to get past SG.

It seems to me that everyone
including the commanders of your raiding parties have not
returned home.

They got bored of stomping on defenseless corsair places,
and forgot that not all the free are getting the $%@#$ kicked out of them in
this game ?

Just my luck to meet the one free who is too greedy and
selfish to give over money and pop centres to help the less fortunate
teammates in his side

This reminds me of the zulu wars when my british moved up to
teach the natives a 'proper lesson', and said 'oops' when they saw the
numbers opposing them. I might have lost a battle, but I still plan to win
the war.

I have it on good grounds that my commander's last command
was 'be harad' when the end came (that's in memory of Edward John Smith)

Perhaps we would be willing to send some of them home in
exchange for some
    of your obvious wealth.

Bugger off, you lot plenty of everyone else :frowning: I think you
STOLE about 25K worth of money from the DS last turn. That sort of money
should be enough to fund most of the free armies (not including SG) for at
least 5 turns.

        South Gondor

p.s a question for all you Scots out there. Where did the
word URR come from ? (as in Urr river and valley). I was reading up on
James Maxwell. He was one smart cookie (even if the far side comic of the
day says that Maxwell talked to his dog to get ideas). I found a nice photo
of the land he lived in, and I couldn't work out why anyone could name a
river Urr. Then I found out that it is named after the Urr parish. Now I
can't work out why a parish is named Urr.

PPS Edward John Smith - captain of the titanic. A braver man
than I.
