I've been busy playing diablo II. Now that I've got my
amazon to win on normal level, I'm playing on nightmare level, AND running
a
second person (sorcerer) to see if I can win with all 5 classes. I've
losing
'a bit' of sleep.
Middle Earth might be a nice game, but diablo II is worth
spending months of my social life on.
Ah yes, The joys of Diablo 2. A fun game I must add and a lot harder
than the first too. I could get the characters all onto Hell (one player)
two player on hell against Leoric was like walking into a white screen the
amount of arrows that came at you was just silly. Oh dear, veering off topic
again <g>
Too busy bleeding to death from large numbers of agents that
seems to come out from nowhereDon't you people know that we you also
need mages and emissaries ?
Obviously some people on our team are holding out on us. Agents ??? We
don't have any agents.
That was before a few huge SG armies came down and stomped
all over me. And then some unknown free agent kidnapped my commander. Two
commanders went up, none come back (one was taken in the fighting). I
really
do need to find a dragon if I want to get past SG.
I still have a few huge armies around the place. Might be time to go
sailing again I am not sure though...... Meanwhile I apologise for stealing
your commanders. They are being treated well.
They got bored of stomping on defenseless corsair places,
and forgot that not all the free are getting the $%@#$ kicked out of them
in
this game ?
Just my luck to meet the one free who is too greedy and
selfish to give over money and pop centres to help the less fortunate
teammates in his side
I have offered stuff to those on my side and have been sending stuff to
a few people. I am just waiting for the Winter to set in so that my
production goes back up.
This reminds me of the zulu wars when my british moved up to
teach the natives a 'proper lesson', and said 'oops' when they saw the
numbers opposing them. I might have lost a battle, but I still plan to win
the war.I have it on good grounds that my commander's last command
was 'be harad' when the end came (that's in memory of Edward John Smith)
I expect to you to win the war too. I just have to hold you off long
enough for the others to do some damage.
Bugger off, you lot plenty of everyone else
I think you
STOLE about 25K worth of money from the DS last turn. That sort of money
should be enough to fund most of the free armies (not including SG) for at
least 5 turns.
It isn't enough to fund NG either. It wouldn't even fund half of my army
maintence costs for 1 turn let alone 5.
I also think that you all stole about 25K back from us though<g>
p.s a question for all you Scots out there. Where did the
word URR come from ? (as in Urr river and valley). I was reading up on
James Maxwell. He was one smart cookie (even if the far side comic of the
day says that Maxwell talked to his dog to get ideas). I found a nice photo
of the land he lived in, and I couldn't work out why anyone could name a
river Urr. Then I found out that it is named after the Urr parish. Now I
can't work out why a parish is named Urr.
Damn good question. I shall ask around (one of my best friends did
Scottish History at University for a couple of years) I can only think that
when naming it they forgot the name and went "er" and that changed into URR
and the name stuck. Nice name for a character though eh!.
PPS Edward John Smith - captain of the titanic. A braver man
than I.
Never understood the obsession over the Titanic film myself. Boat sets
off, hits iceberg and sinks end of story, no ?
Thomas Crane
Southern Gondor
PS I really need to join this list from another e-mail address.
Don't you people know that we you also
