Game 34

Can we start the game in winter (like it was for us) ? That appears to be
our one of our secret tips (ie we are started stuffed, so be pulled the
finger out and planned our moves ).

Probably wont make much of a difference. Still wont work together <grin>

The other (not so secret) tip was having brainy blokes who worked out how

to

manipulate the market. Steel selling at 11, oh me, oh my, and to think I
bought at 3 last turn. I think we have never lost money doing this stuff
(the worst we got was not making anything)

Steel selling at 11 and I have 6,500 units. Quite exciting really.

i'm agreeing that SG will be hard to take out. But we are trying to ensure
that no DS gets eliminated due to enemy action (its all enemy inaction so
far).

    I know <sigh>

maybe not. We have a few tactics about the end-game play that we will use

to

drag you down. End-game (also called bug hunting) is where one side is
outnumbered at least 2-1, and they lack the offensive capacity to win.
Generally it means a palantir on your capital (that shows up your all your
M/T's and Cities), burning your capital to the ground (that lowers the
morale to all your other pop centres so you can't upgrade your towns - that
we couldn't see - to M/T's), and infothr on your remaining pop centres to
find your new capital.

I know all the tactics in end-game. I survived quite a while in Game 22
when down to about 6 Pops and 5 or 6 characters. I still owned two Pop
Centres in Gondor too.

That's funny. We DS have been quite rich for some time.

Well I am rich. I just have to keep spending it on thousands and
thousands of troops.

Well I don't think you are complaining. Complaining is me saying 'No
turnsheets ? Not even turn reports ? Are you lot kidding ?' (ie i'm not
talking G34).

Guess what ?........ Thats what we are like in Game 34. (You lot are
actually playing really badly to not of finished us off yet <grin>)

I'm only dumping some of mine, the Freeps have been using me to
practice theft on so i try not to leave any spare coins lying around.

or SG could do something that made us notice him and we would
have to act. At the moment though hes just propping up other
nations and keeping the home fires warm.

In one game i just sat in a tiny village out of the way and just
jumped AG's and Em's in to the Cap and kept up to date where it
had moved to each turn. I think i took the capital 4 times in about 9
turns, plus heaps of kills.

We're practicing. I've never played an Army based nation before, so
we are all just learning new ideas. The teamwork seems to be
happening though. And considering that the Freep are easier to win
with than the DS the return match should be way cool. { ...
