Probably like you all felt at the collapse of the Cloud Lord.
…and the Witch King…I warned them about the wooden badgers but nooooooo…they didn’t listen.
I Like wooden badgers and I won’t have a word said against them, Thank you,
We are the knights that say “wooden badgers or Ni or somehthing like that”
I wonder if that line above means anything to our American bretheran
Cheers

PS what do you call an NG city?
An FP City
Ouch. Now that was harsh. Hmmm…did the WK get rid of enough troops? I look forward to tracking and visiting his best characters this turn…
Trust me Brad, I felt a LOT worse when we lost the CL.
Losing the CL was the first time I thought we might not win the game.
The thing was, it was totally avoidable despite the sterling efforts of Tina. He had more than enough cash to get by - he just blew himself up. [John feels suitably abashed, I can assure you]!
Kev (DrL)
P.S - Have the dwarves become pacifists?
Ng checking in. Quiet of late but so few chars left we dint have much of a debating team.
I see you want to borrow my Mordor camps for a while.
My but you were working hard! The evil barbs of your dark propaganda are of small use against my loyal citizens, see how a mere handful of Woodsmen see off an emissary force which could have taken cities!
Please carry on. We’d much rather you spend your emissary might on castles in the sands of Mordor than places where it actually matters.
You may as well leave me with Caras Angren, the Cloud Lord surely has no further use for it!
Please send my regards to the Witch King. He is in good company following where the mighty Cloud Lord and Rhudaur have gone before. He put up a brave fight. We will place the final nails in his coffin with care and artistry, as befits one of his noble heritage.
Rob, thanks for the 14,000 in gold. Just in time to save my keester.
Oh, we’re harmless…some say we’ve even lost and don’t know it yet?
Some also say the earth is flat though.
The DS agent at Carn Dum was lucky my scout was wearing both eye-patches last turn…otherwise he’d have joined poor Angulion on the soccer fields. I think it was the same scout that missed your curse squad at The Dragon Lord capital those many turns ago…sour luck indeed.
Oh well, good game guys! Every turn a bloody slugfest.
Every turn is a bloody slugfest?
You don’t know the meaning of the phrase
We are only just getting started and may soon visit the west in force, then you will know what a bloody slugfest is
Meanwhile we will just continue to rack up 11 kills a turn.
Current score is 83 FP dead and that doesn’t include any you may have lost to dragons etc. N Gondor and Art are leading the race with 12 dead each!
All the best, this has been a good game but we will win
Cheers
John S
Come now John you aren’t killing 11 characters a turn, if you were we would be out of characters by now. Yes you are killing our characters faster than we are killing yours, but we are killing your nations faster than you are killing ours. I’m not so certain you are going to win. You’re right though it has been a good hard fought game, the type you would expect from two well organized grudge teams. Our hats are off to you but we are far from beaten. Obviously you feel the same way so let’s keep bleeding each other.
Brad,
My mistake. I overstated the case. It was 10 not 11
- Belfalason (Assasinated)
- Lionatus II (Challenged)
- Belechael (Assasinated)
- Nwankwo Kanu (Suddenly taken ill)
- Dernwyn (Assasinated)
- Osric (Assasinated)
- Bartold Baggins (Challenged)
- Marl Tarma (Assasinated)
- Aelred (Assasinated)
- Veantur (Suddenly Taken ill)
As you say, at this rate you won’t have any characters left
Cheers
John S
The FP are putting up a heck of a fight. Tine is a warrior goddess. Looking at the top three nations victory points the DS had 1783 points on turn 14 and 3817 points on turn 21. I like the direction of drift.
Sometimes you come home victorious, other times they carry you home on your shield.
The Eothraim exhort their brave allies to continue to take the fight to the enemy. To the minions of evil our grudging respect.
Brad
The embatted citadel of Minas Arnor remains an island in the Dark Tide. The Misy Mountains are the boundry between good and evil. The four western powers are strong and well led. More bloody work ahead.
Not really, Mirkwood is contested and Harad and the QA are hanging on by a thread.
Losing another player…let alone Brad…hurts. I realize that we are screwed at this point but since my teamates seem to think we can still do some damage and learn some tricks…so be it.
Really? Hanging by a thread? REALLY!!! Harad is a little pressed maybe (at a push) but I assure you the QA isn’t.
And Mirkwood contested. Given that we have removed the Sinda, the Northmen, the Woodmen and the Eothraim from Mirkwood, which part is contested?
Have to agree with Ed’s earlier comments though… we’re very impressed with Tina’s Cardolan. Especially considering this is her first game.

P.S - we don’t think Brad is out btw, you’ve shacked him up somewhere like the peace loving, tree hugging, freedom loving ‘freeps’ you should be.
I refer you to the original Star Wars, Darth Vader too thought he had seen the end of Obi Wan Kenobi. From deaths door I spit at thee, Mirkwood will soon have the free again fighting there. Only took you guys 21 turns to relocate the Eothraim.
Brad
Hey John S, how many NG chars you wiped out? Am interested as Im still here.
