Not so much activity on this thread. Shame, the DS have rallied…it’s becoming a game.
It is interesting to see the two sides to the conflict - how they perceive the fight to be…
From the DS perspective war is one way - to the Free another.
After the DS win (come from behind buzzer beater three or hail sauron pass w .01 seconds remaining) we should talk about what happened. :))

If you win, 14-11, I’m sure you’ll be all stomping and chest-pounding… Corsairs, Harad and Easterlings all join the DS. And, wait for it…miracle of miracles…they WIN~!

Happily for all involved…we’re still waiting for it…
We’ve been told the DS are resigning the field of battle. After your poor start (SS and drops…), you rallied well and fought hard - this one could have gone on a while (4 neutrals help… 
). If you have indeed all agreed to concede, we salute your efforts and thank you for the game. Hopefully, many of us will recombine in Game 51.
Unfortunately, on the DS side there has been a lot of whining about lack of coordination by folks who are doing little to try and coordinate. This hit the holiday crunch and I think a certain amount of demoralization happened.
Which is a shame, given that I think the DS have come from behind. Strangely, the tables have turned and it looks like we’re starting to get traction on the land war while the Freeps have a stronger character game.
I don’t think there is a will to proceed on the DS side however. :eek:
