Though much talk has been delivered to my ears, I hear it not…for the drums of war have excited my blood to pounding. Soon, soon I shall rid myself of these domestic trappings and wear once again the mantle of war.
Diplomats from all over the Middle Earth have visited my hall and been allowed to speak to the Hammer Clan elders. Many speak of alliances, pacts of friendship, proving one’s intentions and loyalties, schemes and deceptions, all very confusing to one who understands only the language of steel and blood.
The Orcs and Trolls of the Twilight Hammer Clan will make their preparations and poor forth upon the land as a plague upon the villages and towns of the gentle, weakling folk of any in our path.

Greetings all. I’m the Haruspex Wanderer.
I am currently an unaligned neutral. I am truly unaligned, in that I have no preconceived plans on which of the three alliances I intend to join.
My eventual declaration for an alliance will be determined largely by how I am treated by the other nations. My expectation, based on my experience in previous games, is that I am more likely to be pushed away from an alliance, rather than to be bribed into one.
<I edited out a comment made about a “threat” against me. After re-reading the comment, I no longer feel it was a threat, but just careless comment, so I removed my response.>
