Game 615

… but there is someone who putting this words in Castamir’s mouth!

Okay, that’s history!
Let’s talk together like so called “intelligent” people would do.
We can post a lot here, but we shouldn’t insult each other!

I’m looking forward to a good game, so let’s play it!

Have Fun!

:cool:The Line of Tirkhor welcomes counsel from the supporters of both Eldacar and Castamir. We are interested in hearing from both sides and will take time to make an informed decision. However, those that stand with the cave dwellers known as Khazad will surely suffer, mainly from the stench of unbathed dwarves. Good gaming to all,

Huzzah!!

The Rebels salute you!
… and if necessary we will get down on our knees to do this!

… but never we will do this for Castamir!

Good gaming and have some Fun!

i believe a sharp blade will do the trick

‘You can’t get down on your knees when you got no legs, and you can’t complain about it when you get shaved with a broadsword!’ Grooming tips attributed to Eldacar immediately prior to his attempt to style a Southron Lord’s unfortunate hairiness ended in disaster… but a lovely new cloak and matching tight pants for the King in the north

Meanwhile in the summer residence of Mar Aran… “Daddy, daddy gimmi new toy” Caramir said. “Here you got it, my sweet child… but first remember go to aunt Eldacar, that ugly dude and tell him daddy is very unhappy of his behavior and, well, make some mess there, break things, shout in his poor residence, make his days an hell, promise, my child!” Morlaen said. “Yesh, yesh whutever you say daddy, NOW GIMMI TOY”…

And with a sigh Caramir pushed Morlaen off his knee, promising that if the lump was good, he’d buy him a shiny new bauble (to squirrel away in his drawers with all his other shiny odds and sods). With a flourish Caramir produced a brightly coloured birthday card for Morlaen. “Happy 57th” it read. “Now grow up my son… and take off that ridiculous school girl outfit!” …

Good idea!
I’ll see what I can do with it!

For the neutral parties of Gondor

We have heard from your diplomats, but seek further discussion (we lost your email addresses).

We beseech you to send a diplomatic envoy to wargamer914@gmail.com to discuss the details of potential alliance at your earliest convenience.

Vidurafin King of Rhovanion

dont worry Morlaen have already a strong link with him, we will keep it on

FP are dropping after 3 turns and without almost any loss by both sides (some of them are willing to keep playing as i know)… any one willing to join them to keep this game playing?

a very sad DS

What happend? When you quit like that then at least you could tell us why.

Bad manners!
People like that shouldnt play!

 I think we can expand on they type of “People who shouldn’t play!” A quick run down. We suffered two players who wouldn’t communicate with us. Unfortunately both happened to have the nations in which our main campaigns were going to be played so that about stuffed our plans beyond all recognition. The primary offender never communicated, and never even sent us a copy of his turn. So we had not even a T0 to think on. After first turn we failed to encounter any of the artifacts we had bought the locations for and moved to (bearing in mind our players went to great length to communicate these moves to the team). Also after T1 we couldn’t see any movement from the Horselords so we wondered if he’d dropped. One of our players asked ME for his turn which was ohhhh - revealing! Turns out rather than sending his armies at the enemy, he’d sat still while 4 of his characters moved out to steal artifacts the rest of us paid for. He used our turn information against us while not offering his own to the team, and went after the artifacts without notifying us so we had a heap of characters wasting their time. one in particular was Tinculin which he couldn’t possibly make use of, but was intent on stealing off the Quendi which was the only nation that could. Just absolutely bizarre behaviour. The team considered it all and mutinied.

by the time we addressed our second recalcitrant who penned a bunch of orders which amounted to ‘not having any armies to defend’ his nation as the DS were closing on him, and not listening to what the team wanted out of the situation, we’d had enough.

No team coordination over 2 turns had let the DS combine their armies and go on the offensive across the board whilst the Freep effort was totally uncoordinated and messy. We were in the position where our defence from the Mordor region in particular was wrecked before it started thanks to a total lack of communication. Outcomes with the dwarves only compounded those problems. So the general annoyance level, and ill feeling in the game made us just want to give it away and move onto other games with happier endings.

Wrack up the win and move on. If you want to play a hard game, then Gixxx and I have returned to 1650 challenge. The two of us have no qualms about the quality of play there. We’ve got a challenge started now, but we’d be happy to take all comers beyond that.

Failing that, cheers and hopefully happier future games

Rob

too sad what happened.

everyone here should jump into the 1650 1 Week Game filling up~! (Game 84 if you’re ready to send in your request for nations~!)

Meanwhile, you should publish the name of the artifact stealer at the very least - the other guy might simply be tragically unintelligent and it wouldn’t be fair to rake him over the coals, but the arty dude put thought and game understanding into his play - he’s out there and the rest of us should be able to paint his door with a letter of our choosing…

Brad

Sounds right.
I have nonetheless joined up for the next KS-game. Hopefully this one will be better. Hope to see you all there (with 2 exceptions).

Sverre

 It’s about what he deserves however I don’t think Rob and co would thank me for that. How about I whisper in your ear Brad - there’s no echo is there?:smiley:
