If your “brilliant” militarly strategy is to have your light cavalry battle us without infantery-support then it is not strange at all that this Eldacar-guy lost power and have been living in shamely exile the last 10 years.
So be it. See you at the battlefield!
SO not much happening turn 1. Elendin sent some LC forward, Hithlum stayed home, Rebels danced inside Mordor and there is mutual sniping on the WItch King front.
Here’s to a hotter second turn!
Mike for Eldacar
Your elfmasters maybe forgott to tell you, but there is a seabattle coming up. BTW please forward my deepest sympathy to Amroths relatives. Is he married btw? I would like to be introduced to his widow
Eldacar continues to obfuscate the facts. Not much happening? He’s managed to somehow convince the Khazad Dwarves to invade Gondor. The treason of Eldacar will be evident to all of Gondor as Dwarves crawl out of their holes and sack the towns and villages of our countrymen. All of Gondor must unite against this foreign invasion.
Castamir
Well there is that, I suppose. I just wish they had more armies. This Bain guy keeps insisting they WILL have them soon, that Angmar is doomed, something about hating Orcs and anyone riding a real horse…
I dont know about all that–I do know that Bain’s boys know how to party and make an awesome winter ale…
“Bains boys” hate rhovanians? Or rhovanians do not have real horses?
We didnt tell him about those, or the Horselords for that matter. We just make sure they stay away from his army (hopefully soon to be armies!)…

Elendin, you underestimated Amroth’s naval abilities and only one nation is mourning the loss of a leader; sympathies to the now deceased Lord Duranil’s family.
Paul - Quendi
It was hardly a matter of naval abilities but congratulations to Amroth for starting off with a useful spell. In another area my friends and I went looking for the armies of Rhovanion but did not find them, can you please let them know they are late for their appointment? One-sided battles are so boring.
David-Elendin
“My lord Castamir, the Bridge is down, we cannot move as instructed.” a soldier.
“Sooner or later it was to be expected. This is but a delay. Minas Ithil will be liberated in the name of Gondor as was Buhr Mantros. The people of Gondor demand to be free of the despot Eldacar and his Dwarves and Elves and other foreign hordes. Delay’s happen, victory is assured.” Castamir
Aye, you’ve had some victories. Several of us have lost populaiton centers, flesh wounds all around. As for our part, we prefer something a little more…mortal. How is ol’ Hithykins doing by the way? Relying on hidden enchantments to save a nation is a dangerous gambit…
Speaking of whom, I believe the Southron word for a Rebel army burning a Hithlum town to the ground is… Deja Vu.
Oh sure, I know your allies burned one of our villages last month, but really, had you captured the place, you’d see it was little more than a ruse to keep your armies busy. It’s not like the locals were actually PRODUCING anything… Seriously. -.-
I considered capturing Eithel Gogurth but the name was so ridiculous that we decided the better course was to burn it. I was a bit surprised to find no welcome at Osthalion though, is this yet another non-producing town that you do not need? It also appears that your northern friends in Rhovanion have decided they no longer need their towns in the Brown Lands? Though it seems that Morlaen’s son got drunk and lost his way this turn I have more than enough to finish my conquest before Rhovanion can send reinforcements. If we are keeping count that is 7 for me and 1 for Castamir for a total of eight and one for you in this area. At that rate you are going to need to conquest all of Hithlum to make up the difference.
David-Elendin
You know… Finod clearly posted those “No Nazgul Allowed” signs in the streets of Minas Ithil. Ji Indur’s flagrant disregard for local laws was bound to get him into trouble at some point…
Oh, and someone tell those Morlaen folks to hire better guards. Flagrantly disregarding THEIR local laws was rather easy.
