Hmm , looks like a turkey shoot at Barad-dur – which one of the 36 freep characters that we know about do we choose to put out of his/her misery – Talk about a turkey shoot – don’t even have to take aim here – just shoot and bound to hit someone !!
Well looks as if the freeps trying to destroy the one ring has failed – haven’t seen everyone’s turn yet but am betting Khamul killed Ringlin in his challenge as i couldn’t kill Ringlin as he wasn’t found in the hex !! Did manage to get 4 more kills this turn though – freeps are dwindling in this hex – less targets to hit this turn – got to thank the Woodman for all those command arties really bumped my challenge rank up !!

That turn was fun!
And not just because it went well for the Dark Servants. Because of the drama of the One Ring in play.
Although those watching calculated the odds at roughly even, Khamul slew Ringlin without suffering any wounds. From the report, that could have gone either way.
A valiant effort by the Free.
And one that might be tried again, should the Free recover the One Ring, albeit, for the immediate future, with reduced resources.
I think the choice is with the Free: was that the last dance? Or do we carry on until dawn, with no foreknowledge of how many hours that might entail?

A well played game by the freeps – congrats to all – question though – maybe will understand when see your last turns – why did you bring all those (was gonna say characters) Emissaries to Barad-dur if you didn’t challenge anyone or double anyone – I only lost one double on Tebe and since haven’t seen all my allies turns yet am not sure if one of them didn’t double her !! And didn’t see you double anyone else from turns i have seen !! When you see our turns you will see that we had at least 5 – i believe – characters over 90 on agent trying to steal the one ring – which i know you can do from doing it in past games – we would have done that option at 1316 if we didn’t know you couldn’t curse the ring bearer or stuck a knife in Ringlin’s back the three turns ago !!
You will also see that we have been tracking Ringlin – knew he did a 360 with arties (didn’t know which ones) two turns ago and still had the one ring as we have been tracking that also !!
We thought you might have brought that many character to try and 360 the one ring to someone else and have them try and destroy it – thus we had around 5 agents trying to steal it or more kills would have wracked up this turn !!
Am also interested to see how many character you actually had there – i came up with 36 – 32 which we actually got names on – see the Dragon lord and Dun turns for this – double scouting really payed off as when you look at our other turns – a bunch of 90 something agents didn’t even get a single name !!
Last couple of turns where very interesting - exspecially about Ring lore !! We had located the one ring about two turns before you showed up – was reason why camp was already there and left one dragon lord agent to scout for characters if you did show – didn’t want the game to end to fast that way !!
Anyways – good game all round
Mike – Started as Cloud Lord , then also took over Rhuduar and then Long Rider the last 10 turns or so !!
