Well after 20 turns the last neutral, is declaring. Gentlemen, Im going DS. Yes yes I realize this would officially make it 4 vs 1 split. But many factors went into this difficult decision.
First off, I wasnt too impressed by Free communication, and unfortunatly Matt and Herman while they did try werent enough…Sorry boys sometimes the best diplomat does win
Lastly, it seemed early in game the DS were stomping but for the last 6+ turns its been the revenge of the Freeps! So I salute your huge effort to rally together. And if not for the above mentioned lacking I saw on the Free’s it may have swung differently.
Regardless, the Corsairs salute you and welcome the insueing battle!

sorry I have been remiss in my communications lately but I have barely got time to get mail to my teammates at the moment. (Fridge mechanic in the real world and we are in peak season here in Oz, 38DegC today) While I respect your decission I can’t say I’m real happy about it, well who on the freeps would be. :rolleyes: It looks like a few of the guys have become very disheartened and are talking of dropping next turn, we of a slightly more stoic constitution think this game is still quite winnable although that win will be quite hard. We may have a turn or two where we will be searching for some replacements, hopefully that won’t hurt the war effort too much. Looking forward to the challenge.

Your diplomatic efforts were outstanding. No need to flagelate yourself
The gameplay of the FP have been admireable. Worthy opponents. The way you all dominated Angmar despite Duns and Rhud switching very early is impressive.
Mike and I have seen things from both sides, and you know we wanted to keep the game alive. Without possibly leaking info or perceived disrespect to the DS side, I will tell you if we went FP the game probably would be dead by now.
Also, since all remaining neutrals are declared, the propper way to count nations now is:
8~9 FP: Noldo, Sinda, Arthedain, Cardolan, Dwarf, North Gondor, Woodmen, Easterling Northmen (?) Is this accurate?
8 DS: Harad, Corsairs,… Nuff said
Let your allies see those numbers. It makes for a more accurate assessment than saying 4 neuts went DS and 1 FP.
We have had 3 people drop, one for medical reasons and the other two decided it couldn’t be won. We will be covering them internaly and have recruited George Martinez so let the battle recomence! May the best team win!
