Hehe, this is turning out to be pretty violent - both on the gaming and the diplomacy front!
I don’t normally get drawn into slanging matches on forums but I will have my say on this one.

Breathing a sigh of relief about you not reaching my capital? What on earth are you talking about? I imagine that this is just propaganda for the other neutrals? You were never anywhere near my capital.
By the way - I totally take my hat off to you for your tactics. “If” you committed all of your western forces towards Cardolan without Rhudaur/Duns backing then it was a very brave (some might call it stupid) move. I suspect that you may have had very early support from at least Rhudaur before you did this.
Head back to me if you want but if you do then you’ll get a good kicking.

We’ve described your tactics as “pearl harbour”. In actual fact the Japanese did try to warn the USA of the attack on Pearl Harbour before they committed it… Having one nation using this tactic against you in a game is bad enough - 2 is taking the urine, certainly in the first 3 turns.
It’s a game - the rules are there and there and no abuse has been committed. Rest assured though that I will be playing this game for many years to come and I will have my revenge.
I now call on the Easterlings, Harad and Corsairs players to do the right thing and combat these cowardly tactics by the DS and neutrals and come and join the forces of the free.

I guess nuetrals should declare there intentions so the opposition can use there one order to down grade the so stupid Nuetral while he must do 8! Talk about to naive honor! That’s just plain stupid!

Duns and rhaudar likely saw your inept opening moves as weakness! While i did speak to the duns early I assured them I would Take 2421 and Nothing the FP could do but cry about it here on the boards! That I would Hold Goblingate long past turn 3! and make an all out effort to do so. might that not effected thier decision to go DS Hmmm! Maybe!
To see the FP bumble their best chance to take dol godur Last turn… Then crushing the WM so badly @ goblingate turn 3 my army is stronger this turn than last turn!

your pretty funny. not exactly correct in many of your assumptions/statements, but at this point the freeps are backpedaling. why deny the obvious. whats amusing is that i advocated strikes at a few neutrals, one of them being the harad. sorry rollin, why lie? clearly i’m glad i didn’t, as the free side needs you as a teammate, not an enemy. so neutral guys, its pretty much comes down to this, if 2 or more of you declare evil, put this one up as a bad guy win in short order. its difficult to overcome a combined suprise assault by 2 the two nwest neutrals against cardy(cardy blew the bridge, so duns was evil when he sent orders for turn 2. hey i offered him the ring impersonation, draft picks, and some players to named later to go free). if the easterlings crash into the northmen, and/or either of you two southern guys suddenly arrive in the gondors, start signing up for another game. is it fair, nope. its realistic. please save me the lecture on toughing it out.

this is a game, and those odds, ain’t fun. i’m in this for fun. i have no interest in playing to be a punching bag at a 3/2 disadvantage, with suprised assault as a sweetener. as i said, fair? nope. but at least a few more people learned(the hard way), anybody not your allegiance, is a potential enemy in the tall grass, before an ally.
rhudar/duns/ witch king…nice attack, esp #11 taking 1510 and making it a m town. i dont like your tactics so early in the game, but they are within the rules. someday allegiance nations will employ the same tactics, one would hope. dragon lord, keep typing. you might be right. wouldn’t a 5 turn game be sooooo much fun. figure if you guys dump 1513/ 1614 and consolidate the cardy region, the game is over with immediate intervention from the remaining neutrals. too successful?
why would the woodmen, dwarves and eothraim join in an attack on 2715, and the nation with 2 cities a total of 4 hexes away, not join at all? come on beavis, its not that hard. either your a genius, or the sinda submitted 3 turns worth of orders in week 0, sans consult?
sorry for the length. i dont visit here often, but i’d hate to fold the tent without giving the remaining neutrals the honest truth. me, i just dropped a fresh $25.00 for a new game, as a neutral.

Then maybe you shouldn’t have stamped your foot on how undignified the in game play of Duns and Rhaudar was to your team… By your standards of player decorum about warning you before going against your team as being cowardly… That pretty childish to me…

well since your idea of fun is different than mine… I would be the guy on 5/0 split against me… Saying to my guys come lets beat the pants off these guys and do something truly unique where others would cut and run… We play as one we will win in the end… Let keep all of alive until it happens!

As for fairness… is anything in life fair! so why on earth should it be here… All i ever stood for in this game… That every nation have an equal chance of winning both sides clearly have the same chance which they are! Is eaxactly why I switch alliegences FP/DS/nuetral regularly.
But as for tactic concerning 2715 … Let me say this quite clearly I gave it to the FP! I left it open to happen! Had i chose to defend you would not have taken it with dwarves coming down! I knew exactly where the dwarven army was turn1 … exactly! So call me a fool a genuis or idiot! Doesn’t bother me!
It’s not that it’s normal for FP to go after 2715… becuase it’s not… It’s humurous from my end becuase i planned on giving it away if necessary to help my team win! And that’s exactly what’s happening here!
Don’t be a Baby. Terry(holyavenger) drove me nuts the last one week we played. Now I am on his team and agree with him regardless. The last one week, my team and I struggled against him for 34 turns. The game was very fun and his team won against a 11-14 split; with Easterlings, Corsairs,Harad and Rhu going DS. Granted we fumbled many times and Terry’s team never gave up and won in the end.
So don’t give ultimatums to the nuetrals to join you, based on your schoolyard sense of fairness. You should, rather, go over your turns some more and try to stop playing into our hands.
You dropped a fresh 25 on a new game? So, you have already adopted a defeatist attitude. The DS have won this game, now all is left is the lesson.

terry? thats a guts move giving up 2715 at game start, esp in the face of the early blitz. ( screen the blitz for you american football fans) the timing of your first buyout makes more sense now, finance the dragon lord/cloud lord military. curious as to how it impacted your naming heros at start. did you delay a turn to clear out the freep metal sells, wait for food to 3/2 or both? no, i dont expect answers, but really good stuff. people have been attacking the markets earlier every game now. nice counter.

i will gladly share pdf’s and all my thoughts on this opening move and how it was implimented… I have no deep seeded problem with my opponents in games… But the are the enemy until they are my teamates in future games… Then they find find I a different pain in the butt…
But in order to make such a sacrifice is really the kudos goes to me teamates becuase with absolute trust in them to keep me alive to attempt it would be utterly impossible… Something I did discuss about playing Dragonlord in whispers article about opening moves and the options Dragonlord position has… That is why Dragonlord is my favorite DS nation.
