In the northwest?
wait… that was the obvious answer.
I must seek deeper meaning.
back to the books… more study required.
note to self: send more puns to Brad so he becomes less bored and groans more loudly

So thats still none then A big fat zero, zilch, naught, nil…and what turn is it now
So Dim Ohtar is as much a big mouth as Stimpy the Unwashed. Shut up and go kidnap some more Puppy Lord cmdrs for crying out loud.
LOL
I see a challenge here, tell you what Mr Injure Himself come turn 20 lets see who has the most assassinations & kidnaps etc…the winner well he has the right to have a big mouth
Din
Cardolan proposes a contest of who has lost the most characters to assassination & army troops thereby going poof by turn 20. We think we might be in the lead for that contest… Nasty elfsies. Bad elfsies.
Dave,
Tell me where all your armies are and I can guarantee you first place Though those elfsies appear to be doing a good job themselves
Din
yes, please tell him…
anyone else that wants to win the “most commanders assassinated” game, please make yourselves known…
I am happy not to win…
did you hear that Din O
Hi Michael,
I think thats very unsporting of you in not volenteering your commanders Tell you what after this next turn I’ll leave them alone for a while…but not for too long
I hope you like the surprise i’ve got for you this turn
Din
mental note to oneself…train emmies up more
Another 2 Eoth commanders bite the dust and more fortifications are torn down.
This turn will see me (I hope) capture another Eoth MT. Did you like my navy turning up?
Please continue taking out my camps 1 at a time…only 23 more to go
And I see NGo is top of the tree again
Din
well, it appears that EO is outracing Cardolan for the “most commanders killed” contest. Noldo only whacked one Cardolan commander this turn. The good news is that finally, Noldo will pay for his sins and will lose his capital.
I knew NG had it in him to regain the points lead… Marty - you sneaky devil…
Now, with the Noldo capital taken, it appears the the Dwarves must give up Moria next. So many capitals still to fall, and only 5 turns remaining…
Dave,
Thanks for pointing out that I’m in first. In the same spirit, I would like to point out that I will not be staying there long (as in next turn). I would also like to point out that winning will be based on points ABOVE average scores, which in actuality, puts you and the Wking in first place…
For those that do not know - the Duns, who were obviously bored, viciously attacked this past turn. I’m sure the sneaky Cardolan people had something to do with this. Too bad the game will not go long enough where I can turn around and deal with this, for as Harad is now paying for his treachery (and boy is he paying), the Duns would have paid in the long run as well. Good move guys (of course it helps when the Sinda and Dragon Lord drop while fighting you, but that’s another issue…).
King Tarondor
Still on top (though not for long…)
well, to their credit, neither Noldo nor Dwarves have dropped. Which makes you wonder why Sinda and DragonLord did. Shoot, those four could have ganged up as a team to fight the four of us in the NW and that would have actually been very interesting indeed.
But alas, they did drop, and so dear Marty…
by the way, what’s this about Cardolan being “sneaky”???
I’m bored. Turn 17 or something like that. A few more and then it’s Vote to Continue time. Are the NW Alliance dudes gonna vote to continue in order to start trashing each other for the ultimate victory? I notice WK has abandoned this thread - has he abandoned this game also? Does the rampaging fun never stop? I mean, there has to be SOMETHING happening up there, as there’ s NOTHING happening down here…and that includes Cloud Lord assassinations…
Ren the Wino
Well Brad,
you are right, time is running short, but I’ll do my best to spare you the effort of having to vote on the game.
Bernd for Tros and Ovy,
commanding some hordes that deserve that name, finally
Oh, you funny. I appreciate the sentiment, but I doubt your ability to follow through. Now go ahead, surprise me - come on, save me some money - I DARE you…!!
Ren on a Budget
OK Brad, I concede - you probably will have to vote YES to see the fall of your capital
Bernd for the easterlings, relying on the assumption that those cloudies can’t ALWAYS fail…
The nation of Cardolan would like to announce the fall of the Noldo capital. Due to their early intolerance and slander of the Cardolan people, the elves had to pay. So now their capital is in ruins, their peoples slaughtered, and well, there are a few elven-maids in chains being taken back to destinations unknown. For those of you keeping records in the number of armies going poof because of assassinations, we did lose another 2000HC this turn to the Noldo assassins after they killed another noble Cardolan commander. The interesting question is why the Noldo assassin didn’t help defend his capital, but lurked in the shadows while we burned it to the ground… Not very noble…
With that fitting end to the diplomatic tiff between two nations, it is important for us to have a tiff with another nation. We choose the Dwarves. Why? Well, they have this pesky army sitting on one of our towns. Not nice! The good news however, is that we anticipated this little move and greet them with a very nice welcoming committee - 3 armies! Sorry stunty ones… You must die also. And since you are so kind to move those troops down and out of Moria, perhaps you won’t have that many troops there defending it on Turn 20 when it also burns? After all, we do have a deadline to beat.
Well this turn saw very mixed fortunes for the Long Rider.
First of all the Eoth lost another MT, just 3 to go and I reckon I can get the job done in time NGo lost a 2nd Rhun town as well, just 1 to go here.
Then on the agent front I only managed 1 out of 3 attempts at NGo’s capital and that by my worst agent as well. Din got well spanked for his troubles which is a pain. On top of all that I go and mess up their movement orders as well, so everyone is safe this turn…
But next turn it will be different…I see the WK is top of the tree but if I can manage to get the orders right this turn you all have to ask yourselves how much longer
Din the well spanked this turn (just as he likes it)
Hey, 2 guys kidnapped this turn! Good job…I guess…
There are rumors of Gold being transported by caravan from Durthang to Khazad-dûm.
