Game 68 All Neutral

ROFL~!

Brother, let me tell you, so have I been…so have I… :frowning:

Ren the Cryptic

Well there is another character enjoying the hospitality of the LR’s dungeon. Mahrcared was captured in combat, poor thing  I also got his useless sword as well.

Is that a Dog Lord army at 3920…well not for long  The same goes for the two Eothraim armies at 3918 & 4318.

Just a simple question here  Is there ever going to be a Ren the Clean? Or Ren the Washed? Or Ren of the Nice Smell? :stuck_out_tongue:

Cheers,
Ian

How about that lumberjack strike. Good thing Angmar’s a right-to-work state

All

Remember that little bird that tells the dwarves where to look for the secret path on the side of the Lonely Mountain? Well it visited Harad too… so I KNEW that the Corsairs was trying to trick me into attacking Cardolan before sucker punching me… and I KNEW that the “mighty corsairs fleet” heading west (before SG sank it) only had a pitiful army on board. This turn I took defensive measures…

Unfortunately I am stranded without Acrobat for another few days so I dont know what my move turned out like… but Corsairs has a couple of armies to worry about before he can try to steam roller me…

Watch out for the birdie!

Ok, Now this is getting ridiculous! First off I am friends with SG and someone tells him I am going to attack him so he sinks my fleet. Secondly I have been friends with Harad since Turn 0 and someone tells him I had no troops on my fleet and was intending on attacking him so he attacks me now.

WHO IS THIS ? WHO IS TELLING EVERYONE LIES ?

Um, that would be Elrond Esq., Noldo leader in exile. Now as to whether he is responsible for these most recent missives, we can only speculate. But we’ve certainly seen ample evidence that can support an affirmative answer, in his case, to the above querry.

I see… Well thats interesting… Strangely I have got on well with Elrond so I doubt it was him.

Although who was telling lies isn’t really the main issue. The main issue is the Haradwaith breaking a Non-Aggression treaty between us… Makes me wonder who else they might have deals with…

Oh and if Din and co want to visit the Umbar area there is an awful lot of gold to be made from a few timely kills

So, most esteemed Corsairs leader - were you sending your “mighty fleet” north to enter Cardolan waters to aid our dissembling elven enemy? If so, I can not shed any tears that your troops are swimming with the fishes now… If not, I would be most interested in hearing your explanation as to why they were adjacent to SG’s capital? His posts seem to indicate that he had not given rights of passage to you and that he felt you were bent on attacking him.

If you claim you weren’t going to attack SG, and that you “get on well” with Elrond, I must presume you have some sort of animosity toward the realms of Arthedain and Cardolan? We’re most sorry to hear that as we certainly have not held any ill will toward your nation up to this point. Of course, if you intend on being our enemy, then we shall indeed reciprocate. Please let us know your thinking…

Cardolan

We have no animosity towards anyone.

According to some people we didn’t have any troops on those ships that were sunk.

Just because We get on well with Elrond does not mean we were sending troops to his aid. We may have been sending troops to help dismantle the Dwarves with the Witch King or perhaps vice versa.

They weren’t going to attack South Gondor anyway… If they were they would have landed at Pelargir and went with North Gondors troops south.

There are those out that that for some reason chose to spread lies about our honourable intentions and we have suffered greatly for it.

We are not amused.

Hmmm… Let’s see… Which alliance has benefited the most from deception so far? That would be the very powerful northwestern alliance of the Witch King and his lackeys in Cardolan, Arthedain, and Dunland! Perhaps the members of that alliance shouldn’t be throwing stones when it comes to untruths, having benefited so greatly from deception themselves?

Just another word of warning to the rest of Middle-earth. You’ve got a monster growing in the northwest. Unless you resolve your petty regional differences soon and unite to slay it, it will soon devour you as well.

Arfanhil,
STILL King of Rhudaur

Hmmm,
well as much as I would love to try and do something about that I have my hands full in Mirkwood trying to keep the Drag Queen at bay. He has all but slain the Woodies and it appears the WK may have even come over the mountains to help out? Obviously this does not bode well for me at all.

Herman of the Sinda (We hide with pride!)

Nobody listens to reason and common sense Arfy boy. Just ask Ji, creating a military behemoth whilst he begs his Long Rider friend to kidnap me where he can’t. Internal Mordor strife  I offered him the Ring of Wind and we could have been up there by now wrecking havoc, but alas, these short-sighted undead neighbours of mine…

Ren the Bored

But it’s not “reason and common sense”… It’s whining. Albeit, Rhudaur does have good reason to whine. Ask him about his tax rate some time…

A public service message from your friendly Cardolan Tax Enforcement squad,
Dave

Elf i grow weary yet again of your bleating , you know the arrangement we have and where you are allowed to go , You know full well Goblin gate is closed to you , always has been and always will be so if you want to send troops west you will have to go the long way unless of course you wish to renegotiate theese terms , i am finding it harder to turn down the requests i get to reveal your towns for all to see so please just give me the reason too.
Dragon Dude

I thought you needed to actually possess something to offer it to someone else?

Indûr Dawndeath

Dude, “We” have the Ring. You don’t. You’ll learn this in blood soon enough. Oh yes, what other Ring do “We” (or is that “I”…) have? You have chosen poorly, now do your worst because it’s all you’ve got for the rest of the game.

Ren Morningbreadth

Drag Queen, I have tried to be reasonable with you in private but all I get is some hairy chest beating in public from you. You want me to remove the obstacal that is GG instead of moving through it and leaving it alone, so be it. As for revealing my pops, if your guys come to town they had better do it in force as they will have a welcoming committee waiting for them.

Herman (Sinda)

Yeah, Yeah

We all know the Sinda and Dragon Lord are working together whilst sending out messages that contradict that.

If you want to fight just DO!

Well the game is over for the Corsairs.

If the Haradwaith truly were decieved by anyone then I hope they are happy.

But then I guess is was probably the Haradwaith plan all along. Get me to join him in an attack on Cardolan and then when my troops have gone/or sailed far enough away then attack me.

6 turns he kept it up. Not sure I can believe anything he says ever again.

Thomas

boo hoo weep weep good grief i cannot beleive so many people are crying over being double crossed in an ‘all for yourself’ game if you are foolish enough to 100% trust completely another player in such a game and send all your forces away from home you deserve to get burned, use it as a learning experience and dont be so gullable next time.
