Sam, our player commanding the force at Cargash has been out of pocket. The FP are dieing to know what happened at Cargash. What happened?
Is your dun player uncommunicative this turn or has he gone belly up?
You answer my question and I will answer yours.
The dun army of over 4000 troops was victorious at Cargash. I must confess, up until now i suspected that you were playing the duns.
Ed,
Sorry about missing your poetry challenge - I was away with work for a week and on holiday for a week and had almost no time to spare.
Do set me another challenge and like a rancid fish I’ll take the bait
John
Thank you Sam. To answer your question, the former applies not the latter. No, I’m not the Duns you will have to inflict your revenge on someone else.
John, I will meditate on a challenge worthy of your talents.
Ed,
If your dun player hasn’t contacted you by now, let me know. I’ll fill you in on more of the juicy details about losses, what happened, etc… . Everything the duns would have known.
I just figured that he’d contact you by now. But it wouldn’t be sportsmanlike to keep you in the dark.
Sam
Ed Arth, what has happened down here at the Old Ithil Inn ? Seems that the Nazgul have taken over, the Gondor’s seem to have run away. And Spring is so nice to have come early this year, what with its flowing gold and resources of every kind seemingly multiplying everywhere !
Let’s see what else is in store as T9 plays out…
Doggie Don
Don, I’m disappointed you fellows threw down the bridge. Just when the Duns and hordes of Gondorians were about to cross the river. Now they have to go the long way. Didn’t you hear? The leather shortages has resulted in a boot shortage. Now our boys will have sore feet.
PS Don. how is your game 52 going? I have not seen a post in a long time.
Yo WK. Nice aggressive move. But I have 1258 victory points. If this was Las Vegas I would bet they are double yours. This is a game of attrition and you are on the wrong end of it.
Tell John I will free up a misc order next turn and put him to work.
Hail Ed-Arth,
Seems Meneldir decided to remain and enjoy the local delights. Pity… I had thought that you would have decided to leave the mountains and visit the more friendly villages.
Your time for attrition is reaching its end… with the dun army gone, the noldo being neutralized this turn, and the dwarves being smacked out again, this contest will soon become the one on one battle I’ve been waiting for…
Yep, Sam, looks like I made a mistake not moving on the villages.
So, does ‘one on one’ mean you will not sic the CL agents on me?
Just mind your victory points while you can…
