Mordor still can’t take Osgiliath even with the Eothraim 6 turns gone; just who is calling whom inept? Too much greed too far from home never secures the homeland. Lesson learned: Be less “tricky”, be more smart.

Come on at Dol G - we thought you were running through takes for a bad sitcom pilot. “Where the Ring?” as various travellers trip over themselves and the poor thing keeps dropping into various crevices and mud puddles. Turn 9 a Dragon Lord, ignored by his allies, finally loses 2715. More good on’ya…
We also like the clever use of resources at 2703 and environs. We can tell you’re sharing those Rings of Slapstick effectively… 
And yes, we most definitely agree - we’ve voted the Cloud Lord out of Mordor.

What you really mean to say is: Given seven turns of no Eothraim which is a tremendous gain of the Evils, the Darkies couldn’t save a nearby ally’s capital, couldn’t capture Osgiliath, and are losing the LT’s gains in the Gap. Outmanned, outpowered, and out-economied by the Darkies, Free People outmaneuvered the opposition this turn.
Which is to say, given seven turns of no Eothraim, expecting the FP to retire any minute, most players are as disappointed as the FP who have quit and pay as much attention to this sadly wasted game as they do, the fact that the FP haven’t lost anything horribly, took 5 turns to “diplome” the surrounded Duns into joining the fray and adding 12,000 some odd troops into the solidly Dark Lieutenant’s Gap of Rohan while SG continues to pour its overextended resources into Osgiliath, well, that’s what outmaneuvered means in PhrieSpeak.
Bless your tongue son, and bring the weed East with you please, Harad’s a moralist and won’t share his crop…

Aye a FP team is happy they took 2715 on turn 9 that is really trying hard to be happy about somthing. Rhuns toast, Gondors about to be hosed you happy your making it INTO the Gap! To bad about the Northman, you new list of allies is really srinking fast…
Keep on hopeing it makes things more fun.

If the disappointment is sooooo high among the Darkies, why keep playing? The southerners do not have the ships to get to where they desire to go and have no one to fight. Stuck at land with no where to go. Their own fault for falling to Sauron’s words.
Mordor basically hosed the Fire King in this game. He hasn’t been able to expand like his comrades into the Gap and Rhovanion. Once the last Gondor town is taken that he can acquire, he has no where to go. Harad is usually a great place for slow lumbering FK infantry to expand, but sadly that is no longer an option as the DS prodded for that nation to join their allegiance. Once Osgiliath is finally taken, how long will it take to move foodless infantry into Mirkwood or the Gap? Oh, fun times for those weeks waddling slowly to get anyplace. Instead of gaining any fun, your team has shut the FK out.
Yep, I can see that the Fire King could be disappointed. Not with the FP, but rather with his DS teammates.
Yep, I can see that the Corsairs and Harad could be disappointed … all dressed up for the night out, but no one to take them to the Prom. What a waste.
Yep, I can see how the Dragon Lord could be disappointed to lose his capital as his team expanded into the rich lands around him, leaving him to shake in the wind alone.
Don’t point fingers at the Free People. The Darkies brought about their own disappointment.
You are truly funny. Have you seen the Harad? There are reasons he’s dateless… Corsairs are a Mage nation, afraid of water, why do you think he went splat in the first place…? Dragon Lord rejected his teammates when Harad joined up, a little too vain for his own good. The Fire King think’s he’s Portland and expansion is bad for the planet. He’s into urban in-fill, key word Urban, I wouldn’t worry about him. He watches with the kind of addicted dread intelligent people feel when bad sitcoms are on as your rearly allies do their slow march to the front - he wants none of it. The guy’s played 16 games of MEPBM, 14 of them as the Fire King, he never wants to hire another army again (next game he can be the Corsairs…). Dark Lieutenants is quite relieved you, someone anyone has come to relieve him of the Gap, serious anxiety disorders and a command deficit has him failing 325’s for kryssake. I think I’m the only one doing anything expected in this one, and all my good emissaries are getting eaten by various creepy things scattered about ME, so I might never actually go on the attack…sigh.

I disagree that we are disorganized and bickering. For a few turns we were almost sure that you all were going to drop. So some of us let up the pressure a little. However, I am glad to see that this game won’t end quickly. My agents are training up nicely and will succeed where the Cloud Lord agents failed against your commanders. :stab: My armies will meet yours on the field and we will see what happens when my small armies with wyrms eat your large armies.
