Does no one love a Northman? Took a while to get some pointy ears to notice the flames in the east, eh? Too bad it was after 3000 HC ST/ST had already hit the shores. I bet the dwarves in the Iron Hills are enjoying the view, though I’m sure the Eothraim have been too busy to notice. Too busy, or too dead.

Turn 21 and the thumbscrews start tightening. Fires still burning in the NW,:eek: Eothraim homeland under seige, :eek: Armies pouring out of the black gate across the plains,
raiding parties landing freely around Rhun, Corsairs driven from the South:p and Northern Harad slowly being regained by the DS. Can the Freeps fight back? 
Again the only one reporting, Hmm maybe because the freep have nothing to report but doom and gloom. Well the big news this turn “Old Pointy Ears” himself, yes Elrond is no more, taken out by a young rising star in the Cloud Lords ever growing Agents ranks. He has shown early promise and has again proven himself more than able on the tough jobs. His offsider however, Hmmm bit of a dud that boy. Very silly to let himself get captured. Speaking of getting captured I nearly have an entire nation worth of characters in sacks (only 2 more required for a full set) I like the Cardies the best, they are the new black this season.

Well, flipping a MT or two in Mordor while Mirkwood and the Iron Hils are abandoned is a delaying action at best. You guys up for reverse rematch? Save us some turns fees
come on dudes… We just created a new homeland for the blind dude out of the Eothraim. The Witch dude and Rhuad continue to stroll about the country side. Our agents are striking every where, i’m runnin out of characters to curse and have to resort to merely swearing harmlessly. I can’t believe you can drop into a capital and no one is home …
Hmmm, the Woody had two Proclomators a Curate and too numerous Cutpurses, Rouges and Footpads to target and they manage to wound an agent. My guys won’t be doubled for long, I promise you.
Nice PC on Angacam. I’ve been waiting for that to happen, he has been running the risk for over 10 turns now. 4-1 loss rate that turn, and that was only because my other 10 guys had no targets. Diferent story this turn, targets ahoy!

Seriously guys I don’t see how you hope to repell firepower of this magnitude. Every turn you guys loose some more of your top rank characters and the quality gap widens, let alone the numerical superiority we currently hold. (Just how many coms do NGon and Cardy have?) Look forward to the comming turn.

Even as the blind dude i can spot these things, it’s amazing that losing your eyes heightens other senses, i can hear the bodies hitting the floor and smell the death
Thanks for knocking off two more nazgul, i am rapidly becoming top dog;) Career progression in the ‘nine’ is tough:p They have provided enough entrails to see the future and it is looking pretty good. Lightly fried with a bile sauce they smell of victory:D
I reckon the only thing maintaining the freep economy at this stage is the funeral industry…bring out your dead, or rather bring em out and we’ll dead em:eek:

Well well the DS train steams onwards. Freep falling like a house of cards in an earthquake.
It’s deep winter and the DS economies creak under the weight of gold and resources, whilst poor little elvesies and humans hide in the far, far, far west of the map begging for scraps
Northern Gondor gone, and it was such a little push. I didn’t get Minas Anor dammit and i’m dirty on that. Someone elses emiis must have been handing out food stamps:rolleyes:
We wasted heaps of discussions on how best to get rid of North Gondor. We take one Pop centre and the whole nation takes poorly and dies with a nary a whimper. Then South Gondor sends 500 reinforcements to die, just one turn too late:D
At least we had to take the Eoth physically off the map. It’s a joke when the as the Blind dude:D I own the eoth estates and osgiliath and I am still behind the lines:p
I’ve had to resort to chasing woodmen around and looking out for dislocated pirates:o I bet the pirate scum love living back in Gondor and with the filthy Duns 
I downloaded this turns xml’s into palantir and nearly wet myself, i’ll send you a copy, it makes for a fine laugh. Playing spot the freep.
It’s turn 26 and the freep have to resort to the defensive agent game… whilst we are breeding agents and cursers like maggotts in rotting freep and sending hordes of heavy cav into the field. And the field is way out the back of beyond

I think at this point we need to ask the question … So Freeps do you think you can win it from here because unless you can unequivocably say yes we are wasting time here. We think it is in the bag for us. You have few coms left, our armies roam freely across the map, our ecconomies are all going gangbusters, our agents are of better quality and number, we have the majority of the artifacts and we can retake anything you take from us in 1-2 turns while you have yet to counter any of our major attacks. Guys we will shortly own Mirkwood, we already own the South, NGon has just folded, SGon is on its knees, Sinda is loosing it’s major towns and Rhudaur still has forces in the NW. It’s time Gentlemen.

A question for team dortmund. The debate rages here at home (well hardly- but the point did come up) North gondor fell due to two turns of unable to use capital then it fell and NG went under economically OR those damn agents stuffed every commander in a sack.

Well another turn, more freeps in the bag, more freeps planted in the dirt, more freep pops converted to the forces of Darkness, liberal amounts of gold donated towards our cause. Steel buy went well, more armour for our troops and we are flush with funds. Our troops wander with impunity across the map and nary a whimper is raised against them.

At least your trying to make the Witch King’s life difficult, probably a bit late. By the time you take him out we should have accounted for a few more teams. SG must be shakey if Boromirs feeling suicidal. The Woodies are obviously distracted as I sat there with an army for a whole turn until reinforcements arrived and no-one bothered to recruit a home defense army, this is not an insignificant pop- either v.confident or resigned to the loss, now burn or keep??? Corsairs are in a spot of bother:rolleyes: Trying to find where the Northmans hiding, maybe we aren’t west enough yet;) Dwarves are hiding with the Balrogs:eek: Noldo, what noldo, v.quiet since poor old elrond got offed. oh and a few others:D Sindar and Duns are quiet, probably as they’ve had to let the Pirates move in. Cardies must be short of commanders and the Arthedain???
Oh well you do have emiis… It’s just if you do flip a pop, you got nothing to hold it with:confused:

Well it’s done, The Freeps have had enough and addmitted defeat. The notice of surrender from Till was one of the most flattering and poetic emails I have ever seen (you should post it so people can read it Till) It was a great game and in the end we ground them down to the point that they could not hope to recover. Very worthy opponents and we look forward to the reverse match (You will want your revenge ) To Team Germany I salute you as a noble adversary.

I am looking forward to the next game and crossing sabre with you dudes again. Our captain is writing up a summary to try to adequately describe the story from our view
