Game 82: Team Simpson vs. The Circle

A six week (!!!6!!!) prepared turn is a hurried turn???

What do you need to fully coordinate a turn; a year??

Teamwork is a must, :bash:

Sorry that’s a thin excuse. We gave you 6 weeks. I appreciate the your Captain had personal issues and that’s why you were given time but if no one on the team could step forward to cover then that’s a one man team. In grudge games everyone must pull there weight and step up to the plate when needed.

Team Simpson - Still unbeaten

Sadly as it happens I was busy with an unveiling involving a 100 family members, others had house moves or career items on the go just at that moment. I am not sure it could have come at a worse moment, though I am sure it can.

Sure you where winning but more than happy to carry on as the chance of victory still existed even if it was a long hard shot.

Could have should have would have can all play a part but they did not. I would have prefered not to have played the last set of turns and played on a lot longer as it happens but thats just the sound of me being dissappointed in the end.

I only got a few turns in and could not make a big change in the game.

I dont think anyone has said you did not deserve to win however the ending was unfortunate as it happens.

If you think its thin one so be it to the victor goes the spoils but some of us or more magnanamous in our victory than others.

Remind me when I have my feet on your neck as you dont beg for mercy not to lift it off.

By the way was it really 6 weeks? I thought it was 4 but hey one seems to have lost track of time over xmas so maybe you where right.

Well enjoy your moment as long as you can.

It definitely played a factor… Recruiting WK Nazgul is pain in winter under the best of conditions… Failure to get gold to wk this last turn is what hurt…

But it was primarily due to argleb’s sacrifce! So in effect is was more due to FP good play rather than our coordination.

Looking forward to a rematch.

We actually had our turns ready on the original due date, so that’s the first 2 weeks, we mostly have our 1st drafts by the 1st Monday, then came the 4 weeks more, so for us it was more the six weeks, LOL

Seen plenty of games that the DS continued w/o the WK??? Has to be more to it???

Congratulations to Team Simpson. I am ready to resume my station on the team for the next game rematch or new opponents are fine with me either way. Frank I have never had the opportunity to match wits and strategy with you, but have respected what I have seen in the forums.

Yes it was six weeks but I have to say I think we were well ahead. It is totally understandable why we had a delay but that didn’t help because I think both sides lost a little momentum. I have been enjoying the moment since December 2001 when Team Simpson was formed. So that’s over 7 years unbeaten and in that time we have lost 2 nations over 9 games.

Having said that I think the last game we played was the hardest so hats off to Team Circle and I can’t wait for the rematch shortly.

Cheers

Well I look forward to ending your long run, for one of us has a record about to go.

I of course prefer it not to be me!

Maybe we’ll end in a tie, LOL To a long and enjoyable game, :woot:

Anything is possible, sadly now you meantion it maybe those things one laughs at may occur, who knows!

So, so,
the next game will be much harder!

Have Fun John!

Gix,

we are always up for a challenge. Just keep the same team through the game this this time

I’m looking forward to it and hope that for many reasons real life doesn’t cause us any problems.

All the best to you and your mother as always

John S

Still unbeaten

Im in on the game starting turn 1 this time. I was the Dwarves from about turn 10-11 on this game.

Looking forward to seeing the starting plans unfold, it’s one of my favorite things.

Best of luck on the homefront Gixx! You are in my thoughts.
