Game 83 - Turn 5

Well, the battle in the south continues as it has the past four turns… poorly for the DS. We have issued that darn remove port order four times at 2734 unsuccessfully. You know what, take it, it is yours. At least you captured the dweeb who kept missing it. Kill him for me please.

You wouldn’t even bounce off the walls once for us. Oh well.

At least we got one MT from the Corsairs. I hope it was a surprise. I wouldn’t want you to think we were just weak.

At least the dog lord turn should cheer me up!

QA

Hey Joseph… you really should have got your guys dismantling harder  Still, I think things are working out well… sort of. Impressed with the DS military game so far - we wait eagerly to see if you can keep it up as we start on round 2.

Btw I hope you are cursing the name of Argirion - he has had a superb mission so far - 2 towns, a village and a dead CL agent!

Cheers for now
Mike

Keep it up… the cursers may just come your way. When we curse, people die, even Argirion.

I will admit we are looking a bit anemic down here in the south. Your military campaigns outside of Mordor have been quite good, especially against the Dragon Lord and the Harad. You still have some way to go before we are penned in the borders of Mordor though. The Dog Lord, Cloud Lord, and Fire King are just not satisfied staying in the desert and mountains. They want beach front property.

QA

Actually, I was thinking of thanking Argirion…killing that brand new boy with no bonuses is way better than just wounding the fool. Now I get a chance to name with a bonus again. We nazgul are hard graders.

Besides…we have the money, given the large scale troop masacres that just went on.

Say…is everyone enjoying the Fire King as much as I am? I wonder if the bridge will be up this turn…hmmm. I see a 40 commander across the way. Maybe he’ll leave it up! Pretty please.

CL Steve

PS - Someone should tell Aluiric that the Dog Lord likes to burn…then toss down a camp.

Yep…the BS mages are BS…
they blew so many spells at 4017 it wasn’t even funny. Too bad…he really wanted to burn 4017 for all his trouble.

CL Steve

PS - Has anyone noticed the ‘DED’ army commanders during battles so far?! Vagiag, Odagavia and Urgubal all this turn alone. It’s getting so a nazgul doesn’t know who to assassinate anymore.

Well if this thread allows one to generally brag and beat ones chest then I think its time the NG added their voice.

We destroyed 400hi of the DrgLord…yeah. yippieee. In your face DS, in your face!!!

Cheers
Brendan
NG

Now that was funny NG.

CL Steve

The downturn in the market of the Rhun real estate is arrested; the people flock once more to their beaches and resorts…

Odagavia died bravely at the walls of Lest stopping the DS horde…
Eoder is happy
4017 still survives and the LR navy is dead. Long live the FP!

Watch out back door here I come!!!

The mighty Northmen chime in.

Yep…you appear safe at the moment. Thanks to 1800HC and 600LC of the Eothraim. Will they be there next time?

CL Steve

Next time?!! You mean the BS has been forced to play an army game? Come on, it wasn’t that bad for you…

Was Bryn ‘armies’ Lloyd

After his last post: Bryn ‘backdoor’ Lloyd ?

OK, I am admittedly a mental midget - cite my play down south as the QA. Are MBarber555 and MBarber5555 the same person? If so, are you a caterpillar who wants to fly but cannot or a blind man? My strategy obviously depends upon this answer since beating a butterfly wannabe requires different steps than a blind man.

I also wanted to chime in and explain that EVERY dark servant nation plays a military game. On our team, if you do not have an army, then what the !@#$! are you doing? Note the enhanced CL cavalry army that showed up at Osgiliath. This applies to all dark servants except the Dragon Lord who has caught a very strange, FP caused ailment costing population centers at an alarming rate.

QA Joe

Pay no attention to the Cloud Lord cavalry at 3024…
These are not the troops you’re looking for…move along…move along

CL Steve

Hey Joseph, dont worry about I am mbarber555, or mbarber5555 - its only about what different pcs will let me sign in as.

Either way, I am your nemesis. Tremble before the blind death vampiric moth of truth & light

Ahhh…now we know the achillies heel of Southern Gondor…

“Either way, I am your nemesis. Tremble before the blind death vampiric moth of truth & light :-)”

Everyone knows that moth’s can’t resist flying into the blue light. Where did we put that vampiric moth bug zapper…hmmm

CL Steve

Actually, I am worried. Vampiric moths in Wizardry are very tough. They often mess up my party when I first encounter them, and it takes some time to build up before they are inconsequential. In this case, there also seems to be a LOT of vampiric moths, and they are not moving like they are blind.

Now, I did hear that there were some really cute, vampiric, she-moths all the way SE of the old Easterlings. Blind moths are even often allowed to feel their cuteness. I would hurry up Mike, you never know when they will fly away.

Joseph, I demand that you change your monicker. You clearly ARE a genuis (well thats the only way I can explain your ramblings above

I’d just like it on the record that Joe hacked into my account (because we’ve been pals since high school…and we know all each other’s passwords) and hung Samurai Jack on me.

Although…I always watch it and am playing a Samurai named Jacata (JACK) in our D&D Rokugan campaign…I really don’t see why he’d pick that for me.

CL Steve

PS - yes…we’re geeks…and proud of it!

Is it only ClL and QAv that post for the DS…

Here in the NW we’re slowly grinding you down… but it’s more fun if I can taunt you in person.

Come out, come out… wherever you are… Cardolan’s gonna getcha.

PS. Will ClL recall those pesky Agents. Send them after SGo or someone else  I’m running out of characters and its boring writing orders for only 7 characters now!!

PPS DrL - you really should have defended your own patch rather than send troops to help another dying nation. Still, at least you got to be on the winning side of an army battle. Hehe.

Car

Too bad more Cardolan commanders didn’t wander into 1910 this turn. I’m sure it’s safe

We’ll see you next turn…
