Game 85

Well, horns should be blaring and the hills and vales resounding with battle cries in many languages over the next day. Casualty lists should be long for just about every aligned nation in the game. Much wailing for the lost, especially at my population centers. However I have confidence that my lads will acquit themselves well.

Will this turn have an inflationary effect on the markets? Much maintenance costs will vanish this turn. Market prices are going up anyway and summer should be here any time now. More money chasing more product. I my macroeconomics class was correct this should be the classic recipe for inflation, we’ll see.

Good luck to all concerned but better luck to the Servants of the Namelous One.

Youch,

You guys win this turn. However that was the best battle report as a dark servant that I have ever gotten for one of my armies. Troops howling their readiness, eager for battle cheering as they went on the attack and fighting heroically. Just not enough of them to face down 10,000 Gondorians.

Barlin dead, Angulion dead, Odagus dead about 5000 of the finest sons of Mordor lying in the passes.

A welcome to Rhudaur as he joins the ranks of Dark Servants. After the bad news from Eldanar that cannot be welcome for Cardolan and Arthedain.

Hats off to the Gondors for keeping this many troops in the field. I guess the lack of a need for financial support of the Eothraim is helping out there.

Back to the drawing board.

It’s the Fourth of July and I’m headed to the beach, so I’m too tired to come up with anything particularly humorous.

In short, *&%^&$ Rhudaur has so many armies it’s like watching cockroaches crawl over my map. I don’t know if I can crush the darn things fast enough. Someone hand me a shoe. He could have stayed out of it and let us ratchet up the pressure on the witch king until Murazor’s spine cracked, but no, he had to intervene, curse it.

Now I have to try to smash all those Rhudaurian armies, and it’s going to take forever to clear the pair of them out of the Northwest. Congratulations on the Ring of Curfin, by the way.

I don’t suppose you want to surrender gracefully?

Rhydon, Cardolan

Surrender;

No, we’re down not out. We’ll fight on, who knows the pain can go both ways in the next couple of turns.
