Darrel and I split the 11/14/24 trio and had a blast, Rhu was finally pushed out of NW on T20. WK was still holding strong. The Sinda and Noldo knives were starting to sting us though.
We had dragon after dragon and a couple double dragon armies. We lost count somewhere between 50,000 and 70,000 dead FP soldiers on our doorsteps in the NW.
One turn I spotted 4 DS team dragons in armies on Morannon.
Who pushed the WM out on that final turn?
Thanks to the 3 DL’s for passing the CL agent arties early. It was key. It enabled us to drop both bridges very early. We also left a lot dead at the foot and on Morannon. We then get lucky with about a 50/50 challenge at 3222 and wiped the last of the multiple commanders from the NG cav army.
We were helping in Harad early with stabs at the capital and various fortification sabotages; but when we saw our QA/LR/Cor allies doing the same we left them to it.
Turn 20 ending, CL 22 kills and 6 hostages - nothing great in those numbers. The dice gods were fickle. One turn we had 6 out of 7 kills work; then next only 1 out of 6.
The most stinging blow to us was when an SG mage got a surprise challenge on our best CL emi who was carrying the pectoral.
