Perhaps the time has come for the FP to call it a day?
Why – you guys giving up ?? – our side doesn’t see it as you do !!
Interesting. So be it.
You guys must be deaf and need glasses! How can you miss the 30’ high letters and the Fat Lady is into her third chorus!!! You’re doing a great impersonation of a bunch of Sadist, Necrophiliacs who are into Bestiality… Neither JC or Lazarus could get back from where you guys are. :stab: Give it up already!
Regards Herman
Are we there yet???
No.
We are not there yet.
Hmmm, We own Mirkwood, we are still very active in the NW and are starting to make headway in the far West, we own the South we are breaking into North and South Gondor. We are yet to loose a nation. The only way you will win this is a one ring… and to have to resort to a one ring victory in a grudge game… well its embarrassing… We are all happy to continue to flog this tattered remnant of a game till you guys see the Dark.
Regards Herman
Gondor falls. Orcish and Southron forces drive into Eriador and the Brown Lands. The south, Mirkwood and Rhun are all firmly in Sauron’s hands.
The time of darkness has arrived…
Does this game really need to continue? Wouldn’t it be nice to start a new one where the outcome is actually in doubt?
Hi
Just to let you know I have polled my team and the opinion is to continue.
Steve
Continue what… loosing?
Well we continue to waste time and money waiting for a selfish few to admit defeat. You can continue to try for a miricle one ring victory but do you really think you can win an all on all brawl at Mt Doom? No longer funny:rolleyes: just getting plain annoying. Infact I dare you to own up to who is draging this rotting corpse of a game on and your reason for doing so.
Regards Herman
It will never get to 3423. The ring has a will of its own and holding on to it is a greater challenge than pulling it out of the water…

Yeah, it’s starting to get pretty old.
Previous bug hunt grudge for the one ring had it make it to the mount, we ended up with it after killing the bearer. In the water? Yes, good luck…
Guys
Just to say we have had a vote and decided to concede. Diehard, dead right, having finally got the ring it slipped away this turn.
It was a long shot before then and even if we had got the damned thing once we started trying to pick it up. Never actually done a 3423 finish but looks too easy for the opposing team to simply finish.
In answer to another question a member of you’re team may find it useful investing in a piece of silvered glass. Even more than still having a chance via the ring the driving factor was anger at:
a) Being asked to concede as early as turn 6-7, which was taking the micky.
b) The attitude of one member of you’re team - no names.
Anyway, thanks for the game. We made too many mistakes early on but still had a shot at it until ~turn 30 when a mistake led to the loss of the Eothraim, the only nation that went out and another one by you’re truly:o led to losing the last member of what would have been our 2nd curse squad and our last curse item. I’m going to be taking a break from team games for a while but not sure what the rest of our team are doing.
Steve
We knew that, as we LAT’d it and had taken the precaution of moving agent teams on the potential drop hexes. Malezar & his travelling kill circus was squatting on 2628 with no FP in sight.

Fair enough. I will suggest, though, that having Terry/HolyAvenger on your team initially may have brought out a more belligerent side of some of our players… Terry has a way of rubbing people the wrong way (perhaps an understatement?).
Anyway, good luck next time, whenever that may be.

Thanks. As you may have told from my contributions [or lack of:)] I’m not greatly into the exchanges of ‘jibs’. He was a damned good player until he disappeared but as you say some are a bit abrasive. Best of luck with you’re future games [unless/until you come up against me again]
