Thanks to all for the game. I had Arthedain with a Free Rhudaur, so life was pretty easy. All compiments to my teammates for anything done effectively against the DS, it certainly wasnt my doing, ha!
See you in the next one,
Mike

You beat my thread by two minutes. =P
I certainly felt on the ropes, but I played Northmen, so that’s to be expected!
I was South Gondor. Taking the battle to the Corsairs (and some muffed naval moves) meant I did a poor job of supporting the team financially - though I think it worked strategically. Enemy agents made character recruitment hard, so in the end I had to save resource then splurge it (while running 100% taxes) to get up to near the character limit, losing a dragon’s horde of gold in the process.
Glad the DS gave up now as I recon over the coming turns I ought to have been losing several characters per turn to killers with little chance to replace them … What made the DS give up? Was it the economy? We played to keep it poor - to the extent that it was hurting us too.

Greetings Victorious Free,
A lot of things conspired to work against us. The ultimate reason for dropping was the economy and our bankruptcy. I’d have probably gone bankrupt this turn myself. Of course, a lack of security on my part probably didn’t help with the economy. Very well played by you all.
