Your solution lies in a message board alike Deft's new one.
Since I've disagreed with baerauble on the earlier message, I decided to
stand up and agree with him on this one. The difference in concepts between
the new Deft site - for its USA games, and how this mailing list (it look me
a while to work out what ML stood for) works for the UK games is worth
spending some grey matter on.
This ML is small (small number of subscribers). One of the
other MLs I'm
subscribed to can easily get btwn 1 to 400++ messages a day.
ick. I hope i'm never on one of those. Work already questions the size of my
mailbox. And deleting stuff in outlook doesn't save any space, it just moves
it to a different foldor
Eg, when nearly 200+
ppl started talking about "If Gandalf was a Football Manager,
He would Manage ...
?" Go Figure.
so what side did they agree he would manage

I agree as well. I thought that the mailing list was a rather odd
option right from the start, having for some years always watched the
newsgroup rec.games.pbm. The advantage there of course is that messages
are grouped in threads, and you can set up your mail program just to
download the headers, until you mark the thread for retrieval.
Of course there haven't been any MEPBM messages in rec.games.pbm for a
long time. This list is possibly the main reason. I seriously suggest
though that Harlequin see if they/you can get a rec.games.pbm.mepbm
newsgroup or some other form of bulletin board as an alternative to this
list. Like Colin I am irritated by the game specific stuff, and am
considering unsubscribing.

Then You save your precious space
