I just thought that maybe we were having a single nation gunboat game and I'd been dreaming when it was discussed and agreed. I'll go back to sleep now.

Yeah, that's what Dave was probably getting at. My brain just automatically substitutes "positions" -- i.e. player-funded spots in the game -- for the word "nations". 'Cause some of the positions in ME are hardly worthy of the status of "nation"...rag-tag bunches of clans or tribes, in some cases...

Dave meant how can 9 nations be available when gunboat is a 24 nation 2 nation per player game... Clint probably meant 9 "duo's" available = 18 nations...
