Instead of the normal 10v10 (with 1 Kingdom per side) if I can get 6 players
then we'd have no
Kingdoms in play with 6 nations vs 6 nations (3 players a side). Could be
8v8 (4 players a side). I'll organise exactly how big the game is when I
know how many players we can get into the game.

Regions would be (for the 6v6):
Near Harad, North Mirkwood, Rohan, Eastern Mordor, Harondor, Northern
Mordor, South Mirkwood, Enedwaith, Dunland, Southern Mordor, Rhovanion,
Umbar, Far Harad, Lorien (usual rules for 1000 GB set-up apply otherwise -
rules attached). 14 regions for 12 placement of nations leaving 2 regions
free.

Removed regions: Basically regions West of the Misties (Dunland excepted).
Angmar, Forlindon, Rhun, Iron Hills, Harlindon, Northern Wastes, Eriador,
Rhudaur, Khand & Arnor - North Kingdom. No pcs or any other interaction
would be allowed in that region of the map (we do it with Bofa games and it
works well) - so you wouldn't be able to place camps in those regions, nor
pick-up artefacts, move armies through etc.

Regions would be (for the 8v8):
Near Harad, North Mirkwood, Rohan, Eastern Mordor, Harondor, Northern
Mordor, South Mirkwood, Enedwaith, Dunland, Southern Mordor, Rhovanion,
Umbar, Far Harad, Lorien, Khand & Iron Hills (usual rules for 1000 GB set-up
apply otherwise - rules attached). 16 regions for 14 placement of nations
leaving 2 regions free.

Removed regions: Basically regions West of the Misties (Dunland excepted).
Angmar, Forlindon, Rhun, Harlindon, Northern Wastes, Eriador, Rhudaur, &
Arnor - North Kingdom. No pcs or any other interaction would be allowed in
that region of the map (we do it with Bofa games and it works well) - so you
wouldn't be able to place camps in those regions, nor pick-up artefacts,
move armies through etc.

Both game formats:
The SK nation would not be allowed to be impacted on in anyway and
Downgraded to disliked to everyone but the region of Gondor is allowed to
have camps placed on it, upgraded, armies move there and characters as well.

If you're interested get back to me and I'll see how I can take this
forward.

Clint (GM)

Clint,

Regions would be (for the 8v8):
Near Harad, North Mirkwood, Rohan, Eastern Mordor, Harondor,
Northern Mordor, South Mirkwood, Enedwaith, Dunland, Southern
Mordor, Rhovanion, Umbar, Far Harad, Lorien, Khand & Iron Hills
(usual rules for 1000 GB set-up
apply otherwise - rules attached). 16 regions for 14 placement of
nations leaving 2 regions free.

8v8 would give us sixteen nations which means that you should have 18
regions with 16 for placement. If this is the case then I'd suggest
keeping Rhun and Northen Wastes to keep it all east of the Misties.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Also when chosing regions will the duo's need to have at least one
region in between them or can you choose regions next to each other.
Also I assume you have to choose 6 different regions for your two
nations or 3 and any or both with any.

Gavin.

I'm not so convinced removing Khand in the 6v6 is the best policy as it
will make it virtually imposible to get from Near Harad to Eastern
Mordor. Now this might be part of your cunning plan (and thus neat
picks in the are) but I just thought I'd point it out.

Region choice as for the normal game. You are correct I'll look at the regions so that there are 18 and 16 placed should there be an 8v8 - so far 4 players signed up and I know there were some others interested so at least a 6v6 will occur I strongly suspect.

Yes it's deliberate. I think the out-of-bounds regions will make for a very interesting game.
