I thought I'd have a go at using this Overseer programme. I've downloaded the library and the executable file but I don't seem to have a joverseer.bat to run.
Can anyone help?

I did that but don't seem to have a joverseer.bat file.
Although, there's a MS DOS batch file called joverseer which "runs" but doesn't seem to do anything.
It's probably me being slow. I never could understand computers.
David
Di you unzip the libraries? The bat file is in the library zip file.
Basically you need to unzip both the libraries file and the executable
file and put the contents IN THE SAME folder. Then run joverseer.bat.

My communication is obviously not working very well.
When I say the MS DOS file "runs", I mean it opens a window and then closes it, too fast for me to see what's in the window, and then nothing else happens. The Overseer package does not run.
David
Yeah, your operating system is hiding the extension of the file. The
"joverseer" file you ran is actually called "joverseer.bat".
So all's well. Let me know if you have any other issues or questions.

The most likely cause of that is Java not being installed as that is
required to run Joverseer. You can donwload the latest version free of
charge from:
