Grats to the DS of game 20. Well played it would appear. Good job by the WK who apparently held on at Moria. 44, 55 and 64 are likely on the ground at Moria
Would have captured the Sinda and Rohan captials next turn but this game has been over for a few turns.
Placing a camp called āMoriaā on T2 was one of my most pleasurable moments of this game, right up there with making it into a city and moving the WK capital there.
Also, WK had 4500 troops starting to rampage around the northwest. In a way, Iām glad the game is over, because I completely stuffed up the orders for this last turn, I think I āre-submittedā the previous turnās orders. Oops.
WK/CL/QA
(Note: I picked up QA around T6. At that time, I was not aware of all of the controversy surrounding a QA/CL pairing. I think I am sufficiently inexperienced that I did not capitalize on that as much as I could, but I do now agree that the combination should not be allowed.
Double scout is devastating, I had pretty crappy scouts all game long despite rotating between Carrog (with RoI) and Tormog (with CotA).
Stole the RoW at Dol Guldur with a stealthy IK agent that blew through 2 guards.
Nice job on the Noldo some turns back, I tried to kidnap Erestor whom I had scouted coming in but he was dead. Looks like you nailed Elrond also.
Dk Lts ended up with 3138HC st/st in the field
IK ended up with 2697HC st/st in the field.
Ended up with 7 double agents and 5 kidnapped hostages. No idea on how many I assassinated since it was not a VC and not tracked. 20+ I would guess
Cursed out a bunch of characters.
Hoarmurath attacked Vampire Celgor around turn 12, got +5 to mage, curses at 52 and 11k gold. That was one of my brighter moments.
Did you put the Rangers out? Heard very little from the via nation message all game long.
Yeah, they showed up at a WK camp that was in range of one of my agent squads, and I thought I knew the name of their company commander. Well, I noticed an encounter message with a dragon (the one that likes to eat you no matter your response) so I thought that Elrond and Erestor might get stranded if they didnāt issue seperate move orders. It looks like thatās what happened, and I must have had 6+ agents there all trying to kill the two of them. Grats Shoglic on the Mage arties.
I had no double agents or hostages. Poor play on my part, but I did have 31 assassinations.
Heaven knows I tried. After Elladan assassinated Murazor and then killed Rogrog on the very next turn with a challenge (Elladan must have been stacked, Rogrog had something like a 126 CR), I had it out for them.
Not only was this my first Gunboat game, it was also my first 2950 game. It was very different, but lot of fun.
