GM Message

Hi guys

  FTF news
Okay around 10 signed up for a UK v US game so get back to me if you want to be part of probably the most manic weekend of playing your favourite game you'll ever be a part of!

  Origins PBM Jury Members Needed
Origins are looking for three volunteers to act as jurors for the PBM Origins Awards. Volunteers need to know about PBM, and be willing to play 10 - 15 games (generally for free, though this is not always the case) over the next year in order to rank them. If you think you might be interested, please email Rick Loomis at rick@flyingbuffalo.com for more information, remembering to put Origins Award in the subject line.

We're planning our next Face to Face event in Cardiff (FTF) and looking for players that might be interested. This will be a points based - success system with a UK team vs a US team over the w/end. For those that are interested then get back to me in the near future so that we can work out interest and which module to run.

It is with great pleasure that I'm ready to test out on you all our latest module, Kin-strife. I'm presently testing the second game and so when we're ready for players to play then I'll be looking for new testers. Until then I recommend you sign up for normal games...

UK Team: Cardiff.

Dear Friends,

A couple years ago we played a ME marathon vs an English team, and it was one of the most exhilarating experiences ever. There was a turn every hour or so. We did the first one on Friday night, then staring Saturday morning the marathon started. After a little sleep we did it again on Sunday. Wow. Exciting. We lost that game, so we want revenge. It will be ours – August 13-15.

Web and his son Cameron, Bob Turkot, Brian Jurczyk and myself are “all in” . Bob and the Ewell’s we’ll be staying at my house. Brian lives nearby. The rest of you are invited as well although I am out of bedrooms. I live in Champaign Illinois (airport code) CMI, or you can fly to Indianapolis, or even Chicago and rent a car. There are nearby hotels in Tuscola or Savoy.

So, let me know if you can make it!

--David

Actually it was a European team with Denmark, Germany, Switzerland...possibly others represented as well as the UK contingent!

Cheers,

Mike
