In the meanwhile I can tell you that DS started with two LA spells on a level 30 and 40 mage and one RA on a 70 mage. We started with zero reveal spells, so our starting spells were not much better than yours. But its a great pleasure to know we got all the important artifacts

Kim,

I think on turn 4 dragons will start to show up, but you can’t get the encounter. This killed me in a game once, as we thought the other side got the encounter but they did not. We reacted to encounter, only to find no encounter was present, and hence no dragon available. We had two characters react to the encounter (this is my brother and his ability to move two emmy’s to the same hex often by mistake, boy does he really want to camp that hex).

This is my best guess to your question on a dragon on turn 4 but no encounter for either side.

Well it was a good turn for team teflon in the north. More severe disciplining meted out to naughty DS, not a hair out of place for the exceptional looking crowd of freep stampeding over the stinky locals Alas poor Rhu - I knew him well. A lovely little gathering around the divot he’s about to be stuffed into though Good crack, bad luck…

Turn 9 has just run, and I must say that in my humble view, its not looking good for FP.

Eot is getting hammered, NM is getting hammered, NG is taken a severe beating, the Mantle of Doriath lost, all the agent/stealth/curze artifacts (well except the starting FP ones) are DS, market prices remains high and the DS dragons, agents and curzes are just tearing down the last spirit of the FP.

Well you did manage to challenge out Khamul, we told him so many times to avoid the Duns towns, but he was so self-confident that we would not listen to reason. There are great sorrow and flags on half in the DS centers, as one of the 9 Nazgul brothers left us, but do not despair. You can be rest assured that the revenge shall rain down on the FP force with a terror you have yet not witnessed. There shall be no rest, before Eríbhen has been hunted down and bled dry for this cruel and barbaric act against orcmanity…

You have managed to remove Rhudaur and will also eventually remove WiK from the north, but this is what must be expected in all grudge games. If there are any FP masterplan, we are very excited to see it. If not, we feel pity for the FP people who are destined for great pain and sorrow and a short life in agony and enslavement for their DS master. There shall be no dawn for the Free People…can you hear the drums…the Urug-hais are coming…RUN YOU FOOLS !!!

Team Praetorians triumphs again after only 10 turns as DS, pretty disappointing as we expected a long and hard fight. Maybe it will come next time…

Oh well <shrug> c’est la vie. Congratulations to the DS on a nice win. Was fun in the North West. WK and Rhu lined up gamely for their spankings. Wish we could share the joy further
