I’m Captain of a grudge team whose core members are part of a gaming group called the 6th Marine Division (www.devildogs6md.com). Many of us also live in the Colorado Springs, CO area so we see each other on a regular basis. By core group I’m talking about 4 people with maybe 1 or 2 other people we know joining the team before the next match.
What I am looking for is:
First and foremost, a veteran/experienced player who can lead the team with respect to coming up with a strategy. Not a small amount of effort as those who have done it I’m sure can attest to. You need to have a clear picture of the overall status of the team and be actively involved in all discussions.
While we aren’t against playing 2 nations a piece, bringing in some members in general or even a merger with another small team is not outside the realm of possibility.
In our last match we were 2950 FP but we are pretty much open to anything for the next one. We also of course have all the required infrastructure for a team including the 6MD forums, a file upload area, and some tools we have created on our own. I think you’d be impressed with them.
The fourth I don’t think has an account here; his first game was in our last grudge match. Smokey, who is a regular on these boards, was also on our team for the last game but I have not heard back from him yet about signing up for the next one.
I will consider it after a couple of games finish; a month at most but I
don’t like the idea of financial incentives… I admit I’m pretty big on
doing things the right way… The honourable way.
Ok, count me in but in the 1st game I will only be able to take 1 nation on
due to many other games. :)) Unless we are talking about in a couple
of months when 3 games will have finished and I can stretch to two…
