Gunboat game 1

All I can say is WOW. I thought the NG/Duns gunboat was fun andd an army power house. I played the SG/Eothraim in this game and couldn’t believe the size of the Eothraim army I had to take 2715 and then 3221, even with a dragon. I was running over 30k deficiet a turn till took 3221 and by then with the pops I created/took could cover my deficiet. SG sent over 250k to Eothraim in first 10 turns – evil didn’t even steal off SG except twice I believe.

Cudos to NG/Duns for Gutting Mordor and to Harad/Noldo for beating Corsairs which he could have donee without my help, I believe. What happened to the Dwarves/Northmen and then the Woodman – Dropped/Bankrupted??

Evils tried for the One ring and lost 4 characters to friendly fire at 3423, so moved off not to lose anymore. NG/Duns wish you would have updated more as everywhere I showed up you already had the pop.

Had a Nice fight at Rhudaurs’ capital inside Mordor with me with over 2k in HC and 50 war machines facing off against Rhudaur and CL – but damn if he didn’t have two dragon in that army. beleive cardolan came in and took it the turn after as I recon his army next door the turn of the fight.

Well before I ramble – Great Job to all the freeps. Sign me up for the next one.

I picked up the Noldo/Harad on standby at turn 19. The original player did an awesome job defeating the Corsairs and building a military powerhouse.

I tried for the rest of the game to pass up SG in victory points and could not do it. SG was a complete powerhouse.

The FP completely dominated this game.

Who was the original Noldo/Harad, would like to talk to him about his strategy?? Anyone else out there – come on lets hear from more freeps and even the dark servants for there view of things.

Somewhat belatedly picked up the thread from this game!

I played the NG/Duns in this game and had a lot of fun rampaging through Mordor. Played the Duns less well, got no artifacts at all and only got the agents going late in the game.

Would be happy to share turns and/or discuss the game - can be contacted at mikehornung -at- hotmail.com

Cheers,
