Gunboat Game10 is over

Folks,

Well it’s turn24 and Gunboat 10 is over with a victory to the FP.

I was playing Eothraim and Noldo…and from turn 8 onwards, Cardolan as well.

I’d be very much interested in exchangind pdfs and xmls with as many people as possible to try to build up a picture of what occured.

Anyone interested ?

As mentioned in email, my timing sucked and I joined late and only got one turn in. However, I’d be more than happy to share the PDFs for the Blind Sorcerer / Dog Lord.

I guess the other DS players must have seen the writing on the wall or something and quit. Lucky for you because I had my comeback strategy all planned out. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m sure you did, there still seemed a bit of fight left in the DS, it certainly was an interesting game, thankyou DS and freep allies for a fun game! First game of gunboat but I doubt it will be the last. I gather there were a few drops in this game, only 6 of the original 12 left!

Vandal, when were you Arth? I picked up Arth on turn 20, they seemed to have done a great job on the WK, when was the fight in the NW over do you know?

Oh the WK was toasted very early and I used the arthy to keep the Harad in the game.

E mail me if you like and I will send you the early turns I trust you found the position well as when I left it it was doing very well for itself and the game was already won bar the shouting.

Arth was very well but not doing a great lot - no harad swaps, I ended up giving arth a woody fangorn recruiting bay to get them closer into the action, which came in handy at the end as the DS had built some lower misty pops up. Harad was still in at the end, still had 3 MTs on the southside but was just holding off the DS (story of the harad!)

Yep writing was on the wall for sometime but from what I could confirm, there were only 2 DS knocked out - Rhu and Drag with WK seemingly doing nothing either - the rest seemed pretty active and were putting up quite a fight in mordor, where besides from the south, they were pretty much contained.

Hey Brendan, any chance of a pdf? I have sent you mine.
