>I'm not in favour of any communication - even delayed.** Me neither but if there is a player base for it then that's fine. I
find that in the game I am in an "ally" of mine is covering the same ground
and we have no idea what another "ally" of ours is doing. (No
communication - just similar geographic locations!). Very interesting but
a little frustrating as well.If I were to see the team's turns rarely
then appropriate action could be taken - change of targets etc. Knowing if
a key PC has fallen would certainly change the way I would act.>Another varient might be to allow each player to play 3 nations at start.
** Now that's something I would love to play!
Anyone else got some thoughts on these two points?

I think that giving out the turns creates a situation that is a little more palatable. Giving of allied turns creates a situation where you inf away a pop, an 3 odd names show up that you dont know, so you kill them...ouch, you just wiped out one of your allies emmies who were thinking, hey, that was a DS pop when I started. Personally, I think it returns "a little" of the team back to the team game, while still stopping communication. You can infer how your allies are acting, and can base your planning accordingly. You can also see where certain allies are getting hit harder than other, and can balance some of your strength in that direction to help them out. The big question is, do you want to? One big thing is "thou shalt not affect anyone that you are not sure of their allegiance..." well, now I know Spunky is now one of my allies characters, so I know not to kill him...is that what you want to give away? Personally, I think its a good idea without breaking the no-talking rule...
3 nations...its expensive. I enjoy games that I have more nations in. I have more effort invested in them, I have more effect in them, however, I need to cut back. The game is not getting cheaper, and price wise, 2 is about my limit in one game...or maybe I just need to quit all other games...
