Anyone heard from Guy Roppa (aka Happymadcat) in the last few months?
His teammates from Bloodguard are driving towards glory yet again, but the victory celebrations won’t be quite the same without our resident Agentmaster.

Guy has done such things before.
We were some kind of friends, but after he came back from Iraq he was a bit different.
(Not sure if he really was there, but I still have a real big cine-advertising for him)

The guy who said “Time heals all wounds” knew what he was talking about. A little decompression time and he will be back, I think.
Guy Roppa went AWOL in a game I have just finished. He was supposed to be the captain too. Fortunately for us we didnt exactly miss him 
and won the game comfortably without him :o
He certainly had that personal touch :eek:
I hope that Guy is ok. Last I communicated with him (over a year ago), his RL combat experiences hadn’t been without complications to his health. So Guy, I’m wishing you good health and a return to MEPBM community when it’s right for you!

Guy had character. We haven’t agreed in about 8 years or so (well, there was the 1 time, but he’d never admit it…) but he had character…worth more than 95% of the “typical” you get in the crowd. Take care Guy, you know who’s looking down with sad eyes…
My masterwork of diplomacy was getting you onboard and playing nicely with Guy in Game 32. Considering the backdrop of strife (Ricard had left the Team due to heated arguments with Terry about economics), it was no small feat.

i haven’t heard from Guy either for awhile… We actaully became friends in all nuetral game. last I heard he was having health problems and was scaling back his playing time…
yes i believe you did… Only someone who has played with me knows sometimes the greatiest Diplomats in game sooth the ruffled feathers of my teamates.
Everytime I think I am doing better I seem to find something that is so insane… It’s here we go again!

LOL. Actually in that game, Terry, I agreed with you 100%. However, sometimes a calming influence is required to achieve the team’s objectives.

looking back on that game now, we had one hell of group of at least up and coming players on that team as well as the opposition was outstanding. It may be hard for so of your recent teamates to understand how you calmed that group of premadonnas but you certainly did!:hug:
I been noted for soothing commentary being like a Blunt bronze poker being shoved really hard so see the backbone showing on the other side. This has happened in our team forum in strategy discussions:confused:

Last email i can firmly remember was during the all Nuetral game… We was partners believe it or not… I seem to remember a couple emails afterwards as we often discussed other games… My mind becomes a blurr to many emails! before i know it to much time passes between friends here.
