every winning member of the team a point when you get
5 points you get
a
free start up in another game or free turns. no back
stabbing needed.
i thought these were a good idea until i read a lot
of the posts on
here and
realised not everyone plays just for fun.
I don't put much stock in ratings - the current ones
are useful mainly as a gauge of relative team strength
(if your top nation has a score of 700, things are
bad) -- but some people like them so why not include
them? If we don't like them, we can ignore them as
quickly as the current rankings.
Anyone who takes ratings too seriously probably takes
the game too seriously -- and would whether the
ratings were there or not.
