I have received several messages from people who are having problems with logging in and posting on the forum. So far, it looks like it has been an issue with cookie permissions on each person’s machine.
If you are having trouble posting, here is something to try: Go to your control panel by clicking on the “user cp” button at the top of any page. From there, click on the “Edit Options” link. On the options page there is an option labelled “Browse board with cookies?” and it is set to “yes” by default. Change it to “no” and the click “Submit Modifications” at the bottom of the page. This should clear up the login/posting problems.

This site uses cookies by default so that users can stay logged in without having to re-login every time they come back to the site. If your machine has cookies disabled, then logging in doesn’t really do anything. Turning off the cookies in your control panel will tell this site to place a session identifier in all of the links so that you don’t need to use cookies to be logged in, although you will have to re-login when you come back to the site in order to be able to post.
