I'm running Automagic on Excel 2000 on a Microsoft Windows Vista
machine and everytime that i go onto the send worksheet and click on
Send Orders i get an error message of "Run-time error '1004' SaveAs
method of workbook class failed"
I have a new Vista machine and I don't get this. However I did have
real problems with Outlook 2000 as it fell over everytime I tried to
read an email. Try using option 2 to save the file and then attach it
to an email to send it.
If it is a new machine you might also want to think about putting all
the office 2000 patches on it. If neither of these work let me know.

OK Ian - there are two suggestions I have. The first is to check
whether or not the DLLs have all registered from VBA in the program.
If you unprotect the sheet (Tools/Protection/Unprotect Sheet) and
then right click on the send button, then select Asign Macro. Click
on the Edit button and this will take you into the VBA code. Select
from the menu Tools / References. This will provide a list of the
DLLs that are included. If there is a problem with one of them it
will say something like "not registered" or will not look like the
rest. If so come back to me and let me know. Otherwise come out of
there and reprotect the sheet.
The only other thought is to de-install Microsoft Office and re-
install it again. If neither of these work I'll have another think.

Hi Gavin,
Yes its a new machine but the updates have not solved the problem.
It comes up with the problem before it gets to options 1, 2 or 3.

Webmail server: You now have a webmail mailbox . This is a website you can log into, and once you are logged in, you are actually on a machine in this office. You can then click a button to submit your turn, and once you hit send you can know that the file is in this building - ie we have your turn. The system generates a receipt within about 15-30 seconds, for additional assurance. At the end of the day we run a process whereby your turns also appear in this mailbox every time your game runs. So you can also receive your turns here
