I have the following encounter. It appears to be the Daeron encounter, which I have never seen as a player.
CHARACTER NAME came into a small clearing apparently set deep into the earth’s surface. In the clearing he saw a lone Elven male practicing with a fine Elven sword. Up and back the Elf went, with his sword flickering like a serpant’s tongue before him. Finally, the extended practice seemed to end and the Elf sat down and began to strum a small stringed instrument and to single softly to himself. Suddenly, the instrument was put aside and the Elf looked directly at him and asked “Have you ever loved someone fair?”
Does anyone know a good response (something other than FLEE)?
Luthien perhaps?
Challenge is out of the question for the character who has the encounter.
